Good morning nina, that fox is a such a great image and makes the bag really special. I prefered... ....................the dangle. Autumn has really set in, the streets are covered with leaves and I have this silly habit, I love riding my bike through a pile of leaves, I love the cracking sound .I try to be outside every day ...but it is also great to have lots of creating time as well. Good morning Lena, Spring and Autumn are my favourite seasons, and like you I love the cracking sound of the leaves. We were invited over to Alex’s last weekend and decided to walk. Whilst the leaves were’t crisp due to all the rain we had had, it was beautiful seeing all the beautiful colours . We are all going out for lunch today and Steve and I will walk into town. I adore this project, I love how the gold edges added to the picture. I like the fox myself, but both are cute. I have a couple of plain tote bags, I will have to see if I have a napkin that would look good this way. I hope you have an awesome week Nina, thank you.

Nina, This was most enjoyable to watch. I love decoupaging and have made a lot the last few years. I also love tote bags and my weakness are napkins. I looooove them. I use a pretty garden napkin in the middle of my dining room table as a doilie a lot and I iron them. I use them mod podge onto the plain old flower pots. Since I was a little girl I have collected napkins from church luncheons. I use them to frame out a photo as the mat in a frame.
How you used the gold around your napkin I use what is called Scribbles. It is in a little bottle and I mostly use it on fabric to fabric. I will send you a photo of a tote bag I made yrs ago for my mum.
My dad is coming for Brunch today and Bible study so I need to perk the coffee and set the table and get the breakfast ready. I love your channel. I look forward to retirement to make crafts to sell. Next year if it is better with less Covid cases I hope yo be in many sales on weekends. This year I am working every Saturday. I am hoping to buy my own little house next Spring. Have a wonderful Sunday.
Before I close, I love the fox charm. My mom and I love the foxes that visit our yard every evening. They sit in the front yard and talk to eachother. Have a delightful day,

I love decoupage. I've decoupaged jars, furniture and even a skip found fabric chair with chalk paint and covered it in decoupaged floral napkins. It's amazing how you can transform ordinary things with a napkin and some glue. I've never done a bag so this is great to see as I have some hessian bags I'd wanted to try it on and now I feel inspired to do so. I'll share some of my done projects on the group. Love this project Nina, what a lovely gift .and easy to post! Love the napkin too. The gold around the edge really sets it off. I preferred the dangle. I like the slightly offset look of it. I'm exactly the same in Hobbycraft. I have so many sets of ribbons from standing near them in the queue 😂

As always, another fabulous idea! I had no clue you could decoupage a napkin on fabric. What a wonderful idea!!! The thicker gold outlining made a huge difference, and the fox dangle is perfect! I decoupaged brown paper shopping bags last year for holiday gift bags. I had so many Christmas napkins and recycled bags I had to do it!!! I was pleased with the results, but this would make excellent gifts!!! They could even be the bad with something added for a double gift! so many wonderful possibilities! Have a wonderful week. So cute! I personally like the fox charm. Really like the gold frame and the napkin image is really great. I guess it doesn’t matter where in the world you are, marketing strategies are the same, they always get you with the impulse sales. At the grocery store it’s chocolate or gum, at the craft store it’s something you really think you need. You are always so inspiring and make me turn off RUclips and go make something! Oh my goodness! The napkin of fox is beautiful! Yes I end up with ‘extras’ at the till 🙈.I’m sure I had some of these bags,but where the heck they went after my big clean up I have no idea 🤷♀️.Love the finished bag,and I def prefer the fox dangle as it goes well with the image 😁.X

Love the artwork on the napkin! Your step of waiting for the mod podge to dry before coating the top of the napkin is BRILLIANT. I can't tell you how many times I have torn napkins (which I'm generally fine with but sometimes it is less desirable) through diving in immediately with glue or acrylic medium on top of still-wet napkins. They are very fragile!! Don't know why I didn't think of just waiting for it to dry. But I'm pretty sure I have never just waited! Thanks for sharing!

This is a great idea for Christmas gifts. I have several canvas bags that I have gotten at different times. I think I could alter those. Maybe gesso the logos.
Gesso is our best friend for covering up logos. Happy Creating 💕

Have old white and cream coloured bed sheets that are worn on the edges. Have left over paper Christmas napkins and leftover Christmas wrapping paper. Going to use this method to make various sizes of reusable gift bags, boxes, and wallets as well as ribbons to replace the ecologically bad paper and foil gift wraps. Might make fabric Christmas cards too.
