    What a stand up company. I love everything about their message and their purpose. More companies need to take a stand and support. People like you make law enforcement and first responders proud of the people they serve and are the reason we do what we do. Zechariah, what a stand up individual. I wish him nothing but success in his life and everything he does. The country needs more people like him

Only one officer approach me to give her name badge number and even the time on duty Made my family that more confident in our community safety. Everyone else just sits in the car. Even the feds will engage people in the coffee shop.

    Common core math itself is political.
    It was brought in as a way to flatten the disparity in how quickly kids are able to learn math.
    When I was in school your year group would be divided into 3 different sets. You'd have the kids who were very good. The kids who were average and then the kids who struggled with it. This was so you don't bore the kids who pick it up quickly, because you can only teach as fast as the slowest student. Assuming you actually care about the kids.
    What common core was designed to do, was slow down the kids who are able to do a lot of the problems in their head. And get everyone "learning" at the same pace.
    Of course it didn't do this because some kids are naturally good at math problems. So you find they still have usually two sets.
    But what common core did achieve was enabling them to not have a set of children who were labelled as worse at math.
    Now they can have all the kids. And then another group they call gifted or advanced.
    So they changed the whole syllabus. All the textbooks. Retrained all the teachers. All for zero gain in academic terms. No one is performing better at math because of common core. But they now don't have the bad optics of a group of kids being labelled in a negative way.
    The kids never cared anyway. There's no social credit in being good at math for them. Not at their age anyway. And they still know if they are among the slowest in the class.
    It was mainly only ever parents who gave a shit. They would thing their child shouldn't be in the lower group. Despite having never been in a math class with them, not knowing any of the other kids and probably having never even seen their kids math homework.
    It is utterly ridiculous that any of this was even considered. Let alone implemented.

    Yo, my wife works for a large text book company. I can tell you that you do not want them learning from a public school. Also, the people she works with hate Florida and Texas the most because of how much they have to change to make their text books meet the compliant standards.

    • @tcostello3
      @tcostello3 Месяц назад

      My wife is a 30 year HS teacher in Florida. Sorry your corporations hate our standards but if capitalism is left unchecked you get Kamal Harris. So shut the f up about your crappy text book schilling income stream. Good teachers reject those stupid Marxist books and do their own lesson plans anyways. And we both totally agree, do not send your kids to public schools in this current environment if you have a choice. If you must, pay attention and get out to the school board meetings. Also, vote local! Either way, corporation pushing books and standardized testing for profit is not the way.

    A big thing that is important in my expreince when I wanted to be a cop in this phase when I wanted to a lot. But I couldn't for medical reasons. I kinda of look back onto the first season of Breaking Bad and I never did a ride along but if it did happen I think it would be something like that. I was in high school at that time. Different times I would be tired due to either getting a 99 which would fail and I would get burnt out from writing and working. Learning how to deal with time is very important and to understand how are both going to affect your performance on being late but also the freedom that you have in what you want to do. My advice for a lot of you young guys take your time, put time and commitment in reading what you like to do, keep learning on not just through books but also how we learn that a lot of the things is not for us. You will half to comprise and make a decision to get out and figure out want do you want to do as a career and not work for your life. What will be something that has purpose

    • @FunGamingContent
      @FunGamingContent 23 дня назад

      Why do you always make something political more than what you need it to be? It just turns into the an image for no one that they want to see. All what a lot of people do is take advantage of propaganda and a lot of it are assumptions, or not caring about one another.
      Stop the shooting and stop the bleeding I have heard that from another guy on RUclips sixty ate whisky
      Go check him out
      Where that prhase comes from is a field manual for dealing with mass shootings stop the shooting stop the bleeding. (Why not get other people to help out if they are willing to help)

      I truly think as an outsider that it would just be used as another reason to cause division.
      Maga caused this. Or vice versa.
      It so crazy to me that the least war mongering president you've ever had. Who also delivered more of his campaign promises than any president I can remember. Whilst at least from my limited knowledge, also did wonders for your economy - is basically labelled as the worst thing to ever happen to the country and called a nazi scumbag by 50% of the public. When there's not a shred of evidence to support that.

  • @deenixon3225
    @deenixon3225 Месяц назад +2

    All knowledge makes you a better problem solver or makes you braver.
    How often do we do static line infils… real ones? How often do we jump bundles? Sometimes the reason why we do high risk training is simply because “Fkk you” that’s why. We do it because we can.
    Bayonet training, for many 18 year olds is the first time they ever had to reach into their darkest side.
    There is a lesson in everything. It’s hard to see that when you are still in “it.”

    • @DirtyDrawers-kp3jm
      @DirtyDrawers-kp3jm Месяц назад +2

      I disagree. The lesson is hard to see when you're doing it and don't understand why you're doing something, and you might at that time say this is ridiculous. But when that lesson is put to use in a real world situation it's then when you understand the reason why.
