What about the Toys-to-Life genre? You know, games where you can use physical figures to interact with the games in various creative ways? Some prime examples being Skylanders, Amiibos, Disney Infinity, Lego Dimensions, Starlink, and Lightseekers!

I would not consider Star Fox in the same genre as Time Crisis or House of the Dead. You can say they are both 'rail shooters' but the latter are light gun games where the appeal is using something that resembles a firearm to play rather than a controller while Star Fox isn't defined by the fact that you are on a predetermined path or 'rail'.
And yes, I know you can play light gun games with a controller but you can also play earlier Guitar Hero games with one too and yet that genre is still defined by it's unique peripherals.

One format I would have mentioned is the "Maze Game". There was Pac-Man, Lady Bug, Mouse Trap, KC Munchkin, Jawbreaker, Shark Attack, everyone who can afford to hire a disgruntled Atari employee could have their own maze game. Atari was suing to keep them off the home market.

Hey, isn't that a bit too harsh? I'm sure there are people who would love to see a new Guitar Hero game, or a Twisted Metal game. And what do you mean rail-shooters are "dead" even though are there are still everywhere in places like Dave and Busters. Plus, there are good product tie-ins like the Spider-Man 2 movie game.

Rhythm games are still kind of alive but in free2play form called Clone Hero. The community is pretty big and same instruments work on PC. The biggest problem for me wasn't the price of the controllers, but poor quality and them breaking all the time. And then of course dlc's being too costly. But on the other hand that's the type of dlc you can justify the price because publishers have to pay royalties/license fees to music companies which we all know are extremely greedy. And i think this was the main reason why there were so many of those games. They had to make more money than from usual games, just because of extreme license fees and most likely timed contracts.
But how dare you not to mention vigilante 8 when talking about vehicle combat games? 😂it had impressive physics.

Hello Brother, you seem to be new to RUclips, like myself. So I wanted to help a fellow RUclipsr out and give some constructive critisism for your video.
The lenght and subject matter are well chosen. Also I think the editing quite well done. You know what you're doing and you have a solid foundation.
When it comes to your voice, sounding more enthusiastic would improve your videos even more and some slight over pronunciation also helps in being comprehensible when using audio only.
I would also recommend you to speed up your speech, in editing, by 2-3%. The flow will improve. I've had the same problem with my videos in the beginning.
    I hope I could help.
