Heeey! How is the situation now tho ? I am an Asian International student admitted to study for my master degree in the Netherlands and a bit concerned with the escalating violence agains Asians in west. How is The Netherlands doing ? Should I be scared of physical / verbal violence on campus / off campus ?

Hi! Sorry for the late reply as I just got back to the NL yesterday, surprisingly it's pretty good so far, people are nice to me as pre-pandemic, but just don;t go out at night, I also have heard several physical violence off-campus against Asian, especially women. No need to worry about oncampus as the regulation here toward racism is pretty strict. Hope what I replied has helped you a bit! stay safe

Howcome you didn't speak about the Dutch singing racist carnaval songs regarding Corona and Chinese/Asian people.

it was only a small portion of the dutch who did that, most people did not like it.
