Thanks for watching, sadly that one never had a motor when I bought it. It was on its way to the scrapyard. It definitely could use a little more power, but definitely functional as is.

moves pretty good for being a single sneed chain drive

Honestly, I thought I was going to go up a few teeth on my engine drive sprocket. But as it worked out travel speed is decent and has plenty of power at least on dirt or gravel. The only time I feel that it lacks power is maneuvering on dry concrete with a load.

I’d call that success. Good job bro bro.
Don’t think I’d brag about 5 inches. And y’all need to keep that cold crap up north….19 degrees in Texas,, WTH

I ended up getting another foot, had to put the chains on. Glad I did this test run before all the snow came. It’s currently -15 and with the windchill -30 or so. this video was a good test run before things really hit the fan. Brutal cold, a foot and a half of snow and my Jeep Cherokee burned up. Rough start to the new year.

Man, that blows about the Cherokee…I’ve had a couple old sports…I never could destroy them. I’m sure by now, you have a plan of attack.

It was sad, it was a 92 Laredo that was completely rust free. Blower motor/ resistor caused it to go up from the point of ignition/ damage that I can see. I’ll be making a video of that soon. I’ve got to pull the drivetrain and have a guy coming to buy the shell.

Did you check the oil in hydraulic makes noise when loader goes up and down. Just trying to be helpful

I changed the hydraulic oil and filter 2 months ago. I used 10w30 as the manual recommended but it is pretty noisy when it’s below 30 out, some of them actually ran ATF so I’ve been debating switching over. It had unknown viscosity motor oil in it when I bought it so I just went with what the manual said.

Dextron runs way better in cold you will be alright. I had it in a gehl 2500 skid loader work great 10w30 pretty think when it gets real cold

@@markschweitzer6256 I probably will switch over to ATF next time I service it, if I intend to continue using the machine during the colder months that is. It definitely was quieter and far smoother when it was 90 degrees out. But honestly, this machine probably probably won’t be used next winter as my next project has a heater in cab
