@@nogripes rear brakes in. I found trying to put pads in the caliper holder first didn't work for me. I couldn't slide the caliper in due to interfere with the SS clips. Decided to take the caliper pins out. I also found I had to file the brake pad tabs on the powerstop Z36 pads. Only the inside ones. Thanks again for the video. Joe
My breaks are squeaking? The dealership said it’s dust on the pads and I need to get new break pads? My truck is a 2019 Silverado with 27000 km on it. It’s new man? What should I do? Any thoughts?
Hi great videos. For the front can I put my jack under the diff and lift, and place my stands under the axle? Same with the rear? Or should I jack it up by the frame
Just received a set of Power Stop pads and rotors in the mail the same day I watched your video. Had me worried about the retaining clips...opened up the pad boxes and they were included. Very informative video.
I mean technically if your fluid level is low when you compress the calipers shouldn’t the fluid level go back to its point of reference? Or was someone adding fluid during oils changes and not telling... Just asking

You know I have replaced a lot of brake pads in my life time period why have I never thought to put an old brake pad over the caliper?
Every day you learn something new 😉

Make sure there is no brake fluid by lifting the brake caliper piston dust boot up a bit..if there is you need a new brake caliper..
no need to bleed the brakes ?
Only when changing the calipers
Wish you would post the torque values. What if my pipe is longer or I'm stronger. You had one for tour wheels. 38 ft.lbs and 148 was what I found.
👍👍👍
I’ve done at least 50 sets of brakes. Never has the rotor come off so easy. It’s always a PIA!
You can already see surface rust on the frame i hate living in illinois
Mark, I just bought the same kit for my GMC. I did a search and found your video right off the bat. Very educational and helpful. Thank you!

Great tutorial! But damn like 5 commercials to get through it...anyway, good detail and instruction. I’ll be doing this to my 16 Sierra very soon!
You need an Ad Blocker on your browser - zero commercials on RUclips videos with one installed
Ooooof no
No explanation? On why no?
