Yeah every single one sounds like it belongs to that protagonist and their game specifically. I love how listening to any Persona song will usually let you easily tell which game its from because they have such specific vibes
@@aaabbb-sl6mf p1 psp ost kind of sucks with its short 30 sec loop, it can get old pretty fast in-game way more then the other boss themes including revelations which is also the only boss theme that has a prep theme first and the actual boss theme plays when you first make an action just extra details that make p1's of soundtrack have so much detail

And watching all of your previous tier lists, they do a remake of 1 and 2. 1 and 2 have some of the best themes in the series and the 2nd Protag is GOATED.
One thing I love about both versions of Light The Fire Up In The Night is how they both perfectly represent the games they're from in their tone. The Dark Hour version is more aggressive and intense, reflecting P3's darker and moodier tone, while the Midnight Channel version is more upbeat and lively, which reflects 4's lighter and more vibrant tone. While I personally prefer the P3 version, both are great imo. Also makes me sad that we didn't get a jazz/metal themed remix for P5 when they made PQ2
As a p4 fan (que the booing) I think that “remember we got your back” should’ve been higher. Otherwise this list was decently solid. I was cheering when Last Surprise got put first. Also Justice for “Invitation to Freedom”!
Last Surprise is great and all, but Lone Prayer takes the cake for me. If you have P5 dlc or played P5R, you can hear Lone Prayer if you used P1 costume. And I cant believe a 2009 battle theme can fit seamlessly in modern persona games. That alone is enough for me to put Lone Prayer above Last Surprise. Still, you've got a solid list there
@@HellRiver92.....uh I played the others except p1 but I prefer 3 more than the others people can have opinions -_- If you were the one ranking it someone would complain either way so the cycle wouldn't stop :/ You guys are bias ya know that
Relevations Persona is so damn good. I kinda wish they'd make a remake or remaster of Revelations Persona, allow players to choose the original japanese style or the americanized style. The music goes hard in Revelations Persona, especially when it plays Deadline when you fight Guido, and as a player encounter that amazing plot twist. My father hates JRPG's, with a passion, but he played Revelations Persona until he beat it, and he loved it. Only JRPG he ever enjoyed, including the dialogue.
This video is crazy because you see Wiping All Out fall down and down and down behind all these new songs he listens to, while perfectly knowing from the very beginning that Wiping All Out is instantly better then any Mass Destruction version and by that logic deserves it's spot at the Third Place. At least.
I’m more of a fan of the fast drums and crescendo vocals in the chorus personally so I always have Lone Prayer as my number one. But dawg, Persona as a franchise got some HEAT for battle tracks real talk.
I'm more familiar with the FES verse of Mass Destruction simply because The Answer was SUCH A GRIND on the PS2, and the only other iteration of P3 I played is Portable for the FeMC perspective. Also "But as I get older, I see things slower My enemies looking like the kids and I'm the grown-up" goes way too hard. For the sake of gameplay, a portion of LJ's bars are low-sounding and make no sense, but WHEN THEY DO, that's striking to me.
Proud to see you put Lone Prayer above Mass Destruction. Not feeling the "Pull the Trigger" over "Reach out to the Truth" placement or "Wait and See" lol. Personally think "Daredevil" and "Last Surprise" the only ones from Strikers that should be in the Top 10.
Counter Strike's a boss theme right? I don't think it counts for this list. But it's a banger for sure. All the Persona songs are good, so at top 10 a lot of bias and personal preference comes into play.
Last Surprise is a pretty good song, but a terrible battle theme. More like you'll never hear it coming since the battles are so fast it never gets to the good part ever.
The Fes version of Mass Destruction has better lyrics than the og so for me it tops. The remake tops all since it’s a proper extension of og mass destruction
we joke around a lot but i dont think any of us actually dislike persona 4. in my opinion, every persona game is a masterpiece in their own ways including Persona 4.
Ok so hot take maybe, but I don’t actually like last surprise that much, at least compared to the other main battle themes in the P5 games. Still a really good song tho
I will not forgive p5 for a lot of things but the worst thing is still last surprise. Hate that song so much. The hook is the only part worth listening to and you barely ever hear it in game.
See now Last Surprise is fantastic, but I found it reeeally grating after a while. It is not a song I can listen to over and over and over again, which is not great for a RPG battle theme
Reload had no business coming up with the BANGER it's going down. That song gets me hyped every single time, it's so good
And it somehow manages to match with the all out attack almost every single time. Just pure peak 👌

They definitely feel like character themes for the protags.

Let me raise the banner for you bro
Too much spin off syndrome that Atlus likes to milk. People don't care for those.
Fr tho, honestly I think p4 version of q battle theme is one of the best in the series and it hurt seeing it at twelve
Both versions of Light the fire up in the night are easily top 5 for me and every single Q2 theme is at least close to top 10.
