The track called “Mystic + Tartarus” is the theme for Tartarus, a massive dungeon that you explore throughout the course of the game. It’s divided into several layers, and as you get to later layers, the soundtrack adds new elements and instruments, so you can hear the music evolve during your journey. It’s also definitely the song players hear the most because you spend a LOT of time in this area.
"Memories of School" also takes from the verse from "Memories of you". Really enjoyed hearing your color theories about the different songs, a lot of them were very spot on! Also, only 3 new songs were added to Reload, the rest are renditions of the original OST.
Battle Hymn of the Soul is a remix of the recurring Velvet Room theme that's been with the series since P1 I believe. That might be why it sounds familiar.

In P1 but it wasn't the song we know. it sounds similar but its tempo and a lot of the instrumentation is different. its not the song we know and love, Aria of the Soul came to synthesis in P2 (or good ending of SEBEC if you want to count that by its name, but its way longer and way different). and then they added the descending piano prelude in P3 ps2. the PS1 games and their PSP ports cycle between a few diff tracks at random when going to the Velvet Room. t
The new songs that were composed for Persona 3 Reload are all fantastic. It took me awhile to get used to Azumi Takahashi’s vocals, as they’re not as powerful as Yumi Kawamura’s were, but she really fits the vibe they were going for with Reloads cleaner, more modern sounding arrangements.

Memories of You and Burn My Dread (the ending and opening themes of Persona 3) motifs are littered EVERYWHERE throughout the soundtrack.

Deep Breath Deep Breath definitely gives me a sense of anxiety, which is fitting for the situation that it plays in.
One thing to also add in Master Of Tartarus is the mini boss theme while Master Of Shadows is the main boss theme
