@@theoldunsshot1005 Thanks Keith. Trying to run two channels is too much work but I've found there isn't always a photography video when I'm visiting places but a tour video is possible. Perhaps I should shoot more film when the weather is bad, most of my film cameras don't have much in the way of electronics. Cheers for watching.

It's great news that the fz82 will still be around, but the new model is going to be more expensive than the outgoing model, which moves it closer to the price of the entry level micro four thirds offerings from Lumix. I suspect Lumix thinks that each camera appeals to different markets and, therefore, it isn't an issue. Please do check out O&AWA, it will be great to have you along for the ride.

Summer is never my favourite month due to being a hay-fever sufferer (and welcome an occasional shower to keep the pollen levels) downbut this summer has been terrible.

Funny, it started to bucket down outside just as I clicked play! It's a long time to keep a channel ticking over week after week for all these years, and a hard slog, deserved a bit of time off mate....that said I've been seeing your other stuff and hardly noticed you'd been away haha

Having dry weather shooting cameras in the UK is a bit like owning a convertible car! 🌧 Shooting for Out and About with Andy is way easier than for this channel, processing RAW files takes forever on my steampowered PC (especially if de-noising images) and doubles the time to turn videos around.
Hi Andrew... Always love your videos and glad to see you back on RUclips!! It was interesting seeing the new Lumix 24-1200 camera. I just found a used Lumix 24-420. I'm tempted to buy the new Lumix but with two Nikon P900s and the used Lumix it's hard to justify another bridge camera. Best Duane
@duanemcclun9924 If you have the P900s, you are just swapping like for like with the fz82d. The advantage with the lumix was always the price. It offered a crazy zoom for entry-level money. The new model is going to be around the £400/$400 mark, which is way more than I paid for my FZ82 five years ago, a mere £250 new on amazon, very much a bargain.
I think we put far to much pressure on ourselves to produce regular content , giving in to the corporate message from RUclips who only push regular content to feed the money making machine for themselves. I can understand it to some degree from a business standpoint but as someone that does this for a hobby i only produce content as and when i can , probably the reason its taken me so long to get to the point i am . However for me subs are not the reason i do it , the people that like your content will continue to like your content no matter when it comes out, dont stress about it. Its a enjoyable hobby !
Hi Lee, subscribers are only a vanity measure, really. Once you are past 1k, they don't really matter. It's views that count if you are playing the RUclips earnings game. TBH, with the amount I get from YT ad revenue, it's a hobby with a little bit of pocket money. My initial reason for starting the channel was to provide a more interesting way to showcase my photography, something I need to remember at times.
Never doubted you’d quit unlike me who went missing for 12 Months 😂 Enjoy both channels and thanks for the update - here’s to some better weather and definitely no organ sales 😅
