You know, I tend to agree, that certain glow was gone! She definitely looked much older, more exhausted, and I’m positive she is one of those people that could not have handled getting older, once all that attention is gone from men, she would have felt abandonment again

It was her final photoshoot by a guy called Bert Stern in 1962 two months before she died. She was not sad at all. The character she portrayed for that image is supposed to be ‘Dark’ & ‘Melancholic’ that’s why she appears to be sad. In other pictures when she was more of herself she looked happy and radiant (please check the Book published in the 80s entitled ‘The Last Sitting’ 1962 by Bert Stern)

In this photographies Marylin is so tired verry changing
Marilyn was used by men her entire life, which obviously contributed to her premature death. As she so poignantly said in the masterful comedy “Some Like it Hot,” that she “always gets the fuzzy end of the lollipop.” That was true in the film and in life. I miss her; she was iconic-one of a kind. RIP, Beautiful Marilyn. P.s. to the content provider: These are great shots, but in most of them I cannot see her face. Olhando para essas imagens percebe que ela estava com uma depressão profunda. Não tem como esconder o olhar... Acho que realmente foi suicídio, mas lá no fundo ela achava que teria alguém para socorrer assim como foi em outras vezes.

I love this sitting. Early 60's. Marilyn was taking on a new look. Slimmed down. Beautiful
By 1962, she looked like she was aging. Her face was puffy, from drinking ,and popping pills. A horrible childhood, no parenting , foster care, failed marriages ,,,searching for a father figure. She was an unstable, unhappy adult .
