Absolutely flawless playing. Beautiful voicing and phrasing, incredible use of dynamics and everything flows and grooves remarkably. That this was done in front of an orchestra of players just hanging on every note and TV cameras shows ridiculous poise under pressure. I have been playing for many years and can truly appreciate how well done this is. I am just seeing this now in 2024, great job Christoph.

From nearly 9000 people who have listen and seen this, there is no one to say SOMETHING about it? hope the reason is, because all remeined speechles after hearing it :) Well I will be the first: if this is LIVE and not playback, than this is FANTASTIC. Interpretation, accuracy, musicality, dynamics, technique and overall impression is just outstanding. Also recording ambiental and sound wise is done very well. Bravissimo.

Inspirational and a stunning performance. I respect anyone that takes the time to learn and then perform a piece for an audience live. Bach is challenging literature. Especially impressive is that we never touch our instrument unlike our other string, woodwind and brass instrumental players. Then, we have to achieve accuracy through a 17" mallet and with 2 in each hand! Thank you for sharing this with us. Incredible!
