As I mentioned before... You're NOT just the HH but also a teacher and professor of the history behind the Atlantic wall.. Thank You and EE... Be safe, careful and of course be well....
Eagle Eyes has grown much since I started watching your channel. It is fun hearing him get into the dialogue with you. Of all the weapons used on that beach, the shifting tides and time become the ultimate victor.
Thanks for taking us with you inside the big 622 gun position bunker. Just imagine around 60 bunker are already totally buried. That coastline will look much different 10 yrs from now. Good catch on the 645 bunker EE. The VF58C machine gun Tobruk, FL277, and 671 gun bunker were very interesting to see. EE was extremely agile & quick finding that narrow entranceway to the garage for the searchlight and machine gun. Maybe you should be following that little dude. 😁 Very interesting. Thanks, will watch out for next episode. Stay safe you two.
To quote General Patton: if oceans and mountain ranges can be overcome, then anything built by man can be overcome. These are some of your best bunkers, very interesting. Have you ever checked out Tino Von Struckmann's chsnnel?
This is an amazing tour/exploration of the Atlantic Wall! Your knowledge of everything what you are exploring/discovering is very extensive. It's great seeing you explore these things, which many of your viewers will most likely never see in person. Keep up the good work!
We are so blessed to have you and EE documenting these disappearing monoliths, HH. By the time my grandchildren are grown, they will have disappeared. So I'm very thankful you are preserving them on video for future generations to see!💖
I know Mary. it is almost not to believe that they do that but every day they are been worked on by nature itself it seems. Thanks for being here Mary and greetings from us.
I absolutely love your channel. I got a metal detector from my children last year for my birthday and I would love to use it on the continent. I recently found a friend's engagement ring for her when she lost it in long grass so I would absolutely love to try and find WW1 &2 relics.
The number of bunkers each with its own specific purpose is totally mind-boggling and to think that this major construction work stretches all the way from Scandinavia to France! The detailed information of each type of bunker is much appreciated HH. It is such a privilege to see these installations before they finally surrender to the ocean. Thank you HH and EE (who is amazing in how he identifies and discovers things)!
Eagle Eyes is always on it! The Hunter.. The entire Atlantic coast is so awesome. Thank you guys for the view before the ocean hides those bunkers. Amazing 😳
Great adventure guys, the diagrams and photos you include are excellent. It is a shame some of these are not relocated safely from the beach and kitted out as they were back in WWII. We can learn so much from history and these could help future generations understand a great deal. Thank you as ever for a brilliant video. 👏
The Atlantic Wall is such an amazing construction project. The time, effort, and planning involved is astounding. And yes, it is a little sad to see these monsters being consumed by the sand, but Nature will always win in the end. And in a strange way, they are being preserved for future History Hunters to dig them out, and rediscover forgotten times. Thank you both for crawling into these bunkers. Definitely something for the brave hearted, not suffering from claustrophobia! Cheers to you all! Stay Safe and Well!
Once again I am amazed by this Bunker graveyard, and the depth of your knowledge on the types of Bunkers and their uses. EE is getting very good at spotting the hidden bunkers now, you have taught him well. Imagine in a few years time if the sea reclaims these monster, being able to dive of the coast and swim round them, what will people in a hundred years make of them. Thank you for sharing this site, and your knowledge. I hope you are now fully recovered from Covid. Stay safe and well my friend, and thank you for the recommendation on the book, just waiting for it to arrive.
i wonder too of what people will say in a few hundreds year when all they know is a photo or reading in a book about what used to be. We are actually seing history right here and now. Thanks Barry :)
The German installations are always fascinating. Not only are the interiors interesting but the work that went into the surrounding area to protect the installations from air attack and to ensure good fields of fire shows what good planners they were. Thanks for exploring and sharing before these things all disappear!
Sweet. Love seeing those fortifications. Sad though they are being taken away. Thanks for sharing. I always enjoy watching. Can NOT wait to see the rest.
Hey guys! Thanks for showing us those very impressive bunkers! Unfortunately one day they'll be gone forever swallowed up by mother nature. Look forward to the next adventure and thank you so much for all of your hard work as always! All the best Dan! 🇺🇸
What an amazing location! I would absolutely LOVE to explore a location with so many historical features! Unfortunately, I probably never will. Luckily for me, people like you are willing and able to explore them for me! Thank you, so much, for taking us along on your wonderful adventures!
This was amazing! I love it when you and Eagle Eyes take us to these areas where the Germans built all these massive buildings and tell us what they were. Nature is slowly taking back the terrain where all of this is. I'm so glad you shared this with us because like you said, in ten years this will all be gone. Thanks for another awesome adventure. Take care and stay safe my friend. 💖💯
I love the Atlantic Wall. So much history to experience. Amazing how the sea undermines the huge bunkers & sinks them. I like the diagrams & photos you show us. Hitler demanded many many bunkers with artillery. All amazing to see.
Loved this location the bunkers were incredible! EE thanks for showing your dad those bunkers great job !! 👍🏻👍🏻can’t wait to see more thank you EE &HH ! Be careful . Be safe !!!!👍🏻👍🏻
I wonder what percentage of the Atlantic Wall bunkers are moving toward the sea? Interesting to think about. Thanks for another glimpse into the past in this amazing place
Good Man these are amazing fun adventures and historically significant documentaries! It is still astonishingly amazing to me how modernistic looking these structures are - if I was there I would expect to see Star Wars type spacecraft flying around and a Death Star spacestation orbiting above. The Germans were so far more scientifically and technologically advanced than anyone else then - and these technologies helped to create many of our technologies of today.
It is a shame to know this marvelous structures will be lost. They can teach still teach us, if nothing else futility. Thanks for sharing your extensive knowledge.
Amazes me on how disrespectful people are defacing history with graffiti and vandalism, if they only realized the lives that were caught up in that cancer of war, today's generation, not all but the majority just can care less. I'm so thankful for you, your family and others preserving history, Mike, Chris others, you guys are awesome.
@@WW2HistoryHunter I can understand voicing opinions, expressions, etc... but brave men on both sides gave their lives. Another interesting installment ,these bunkers are amazing I wonder how many bunkers are hidden never to be found? Hundreds I should imagine Keep up the great exploring
It was cool and a bit disconcerting to be able to see under that bunker, and thanks for crawling inside that other one, it probably will be totally full of sand by next year. Thanks for another amazing adventure, I never get tired of your discoveries. :-)

Hello there ! I just wondered when are you guys going to dig up many nice objects/finds again ? Don not get me wrong, I love those bunker videos !!! Bengan 🙂🕷
I'm loving this series of videos. This location is totally amazing. I did hear a story once about some bunkers on the coast of Norway 🇳🇴 that were totally buried in the sand. There was a storm there and some of the bunkers were uncovered revealing all of the items that were left inside by the German soldiers at the end of the war. I'm not sure how true this story is but I do find it fascinating that this could actually happen. Thanks for a great video. I'm so looking forward to the rest of them from this location. Stay safe
Unbelievable on how Mother Nature is claiming all of these fortifications! Very sad to see them slowly disappearing but thank you and Eagle eyes for sharing with us!
Awesome, I loved this. Watching you explore those sand filled bunkers I had visions of Indiana Jones 😂 For some reason I expected the underneath of a German bunker to look a bit rougher than that. Great job guys, keep 'em coming
This must be the German section between the Netherlands and Denmark? The map is interesting at the beginning showing the Faroe Islands as occupied by the British in 1940. Now self governing part of Denmark since 1948 and rid of the British :)
Wow its amazing I admire the determination and enthusiasm of you both for going too these places while having covid you both are brilliant and are troopers I thank you so much for these videos I'm glad you both are better and ok 👍
Well to be honest the Covid crap took some power out of us but somehow our enthusiasm won over that in a brilliant way Karl. Thanks for being here and greetings from us.
Still can't believe that there is bunker fortifications from the top of Scandinavia to the bottom of France border of Spain. Can't wrap my head around the time spent and people involved to build these well designed structures. Thank you for taking us in the huge 622 Regelbau HH and EE. A shame a couple of the rooms were flooded. Yes wonder what the heavy hooks were for? You are smart to heed the No Admittance sign on the wooden watchtower. EE needs his Dad. EE was right as he is most times, the mound hid a 645 bunker. Too bad you couldn't get inside of it. Would have liked to see the Barracks still standing. A shame that the graffiti idiots preformed their handiwork on the FL277. That will screw up the archeologists when they discover the bunker 100 yrs from now submerged in the ocean. Looking forward to P3. Thank you HH and EE for taking us there.
I used to be a Patton fanatic, not so much after really understanding the man but he did say it right " fixed fortifications are the monuments of the stupidity of man" He did a lot of great things though but often causing more problems with Ike, Bradley and the rest of SHAEF.

The Atlantic Wall installations are interesting to see, but I love when you and EE go to out of the way places that haven't been defaced by idiots with spray paint. They have no respect for history, and probably no respect for their relatives who fought there. A shame.
Amazing would it be worth while to explain when the fortifications were placed they were 4000 k feet from the high ocean water line and now after 80 years they are 300 feet from the water ... that's a lot of sand erosion.
I love your videos keep up the amazing work, if I wouldn't of took a massive paycut to pursue my dreams In agriculture, I would be giving you a major patron donation to keep the exploration videos coming keep it up I love your videos hope I could give more.
How strange it will be for archaeologists in a thousand years to find these bunkers lined up in the middle of the North Sea, half a kilometer under the water. XD
These powerful structures of the German Army now look so weak and helpless as the ocean recovers it’s beaches. How impressive the bunkers would have looked to the locals and Allied forces flying over them. The bunkers on the other side of the dunes that are buried covered by the locals or by nature? These still make a powerful statement as the sea claims what was once her’s.
As I mentioned before... You're NOT just the HH but also a teacher and professor of the history behind the Atlantic wall.. Thank You and EE... Be safe, careful and of course be well....
Thanks for that Ted and so much appreciated. Hope all is well and be safe out there my friend :)

Those bunkers vanish under the sand, which ironically will protect them forever.
Yes i guess you are right. Thanks Sean.
awesome
Thank you Mariano.
How strange it will be for archaeologists in a thousand years to find these bunkers lined up in the middle of the North Sea, half a kilometer under the water. XD
Just my thoughts as well Shannon and so glad we can share them today as they are gone tomorrow :) Thanks.
Totally awesome
Thanks fo rwatching.
Some are just naturally buried by sand drift others by farmers hating them being there. Thanks Anthony.
You could have EagleEye cam.
Could indeed :)
