Brilliant as usual !! I am impressed by your attention to safety at all times and your explanation regarding the landslip, anyone causht in that would certainly be dead. Many thanks once again.
That's a really cool location! I'm very glad to hear the land owner, not only, is allowing people to view the site, but is actually improving it and making it more accessible for history explorers!
So good that there are land owners out there who spend the time to preserve the past, instead of just burying it. That last position definitely looks like it started life as a Flak site, but has been through a couple of conversions, possibly for a rangefinder, and then later a radar unit. Such a complex location would probably have both by the war's end. Cannot wait to see what else you have found at this amazing location. Cheers, and Stay Well!
This reminds me of a tv drama series where you cant wait for the next episode!!!. It always surprises me how some of these still exist. Terrific work by HH team as usual, nice spotting on the hillside stairway too.
What an interesting position with so many features all so neatly blended to the hillside. Scary to think how easily the sides of the trenches can cave in and huge rocks co.e tumbling down. History's been preserved here and we get to share I the experience. Thank you HH and EE,it is great to see you enjoying yourselves together. Stay safe.
yes we have actually been at a location when that happened just a few meters from us and it is scary Beverley. Very interesting location it is. Thanks and be safe.
Once again, you have found something very special to show us. Well done to you both, Eagle eyes has your passion, so history will live on, Well done my friend
Thanks again for the great videos. At 18:50 into the video you are beginning to lift the lid with the old cartridges. It seemed like there were definitely objects in the hole, but you dropped the lid back down. Please explain why you didn't lift/drag the lid to the side and examine what was below. I was hoping for a good look in the hole. Thanks.
I was wondering if you could start publishing the GPS coordinates so myself and other fans can see the layout on Google Earth. That way we can observe the strategic layout that the armies had in mind. I find your channel incredibly engaging and stimulating as far as this incredible war. You have incredible finds! And as I browse the landscapes I can totally immerse myself into the battles, struggles, fears and worries of these brave soldiers on both sides.thanks so much!
Such a wonderful adventure! I can't wait to see part 2! It's so cool to be able to see these things with you and EE. Take care and I'll be watching for notifications for the next one. Stay safe my friend. 💖
Another outstanding find. You are correct it is nice to see people maintaining the historical place for people to visit. Interesting casting in the entrance of the 1st bunker. It is unfortunate the trench caved in but free stacked stone will due that if you vertical. I love the use of spent 20mm cartridges for handles. Great area stay safe. Do not let EE run you to ragged.
Really enjoyed visiting this location again. The area hasn’t been vandalized like some of the other locations you visit. The last flak position was unusual looking compared to others we have seen. The circle of rocks around the gun itself was different. Probably used what they could to build this location.
It's amazing what variation there is between different bunker systems that were built, it's just as exciting to follow your adventures. EE must be in terribly good condition as he runs around everywhere I'm impressed.
The intensity has been built, NOW I'm waiting for you and EE, perhaps even BBG to assist in helping resolve this last piece of this unknown puzzle. ( what is this - secret ) Be Well and Be Safe all 3 of you HH's .

What a very cool and Interesting location girl or very cool and beautiful and I think it’s very awesome that you include your family and once again awesome video my friend
I keep stumbling across videos that I thought I had watched... Must have been before I understood the importance of hitting the thumbs up button. Most of your videos from the last 2 years that I have rewatched, I have "liked" or given the thumbs up. Then I find random videos like this... That I haven't seen before. Anywho, you keep discovering and posting, and I'll keep watching and discovering all the awesome things that that you have posted over the last 10 years?... Wow ❤️ Keep up the excellent work 🙏
I'm guessing they used the rivetted sheet metal cooling baths for the 20mm flak positions there. The area that appears like an open seat in each position is around the size for them. Those type of cooling baths were used in the far northern and heavily snow bound areas as the normal concrete recessed baths would've frozen solid. Normally left empty in winter they would either be left with snow in them or turned upside down when not in use then tipped upright and filled with water from buckets and snow when in operation.
Beautiful location. Seeing the rock slide just shows how dangerous some of these locations can be. Wondering if some of the rocks were placed there by soldiers after the construction of the bunkers to give them more protection. I would have thought they would have used concrete to secure the rocks together.
Another wonderful video. Where is this there isn't a leaf on the trees yet. I think they had the Atlantic wall in Norway it looks cold for May/June.Thanks.
I love the Atlantic Wall and I love German history after watching you for as long as I've been watching your videos I've learned more about my German history thank you very much for sharing that with me proud to be German
Loved this, thanks history hunter and eagle eyes 💜👍👍👍 have you guys ever been to the “ la Cambe German war cemetery “ ? Would live to see you and eagle eyes explore that.
That place is packed with different structure's. I can't imagine the amount of work that went on thee to create it. Another great location. I can't wait to see what's next. Happy History Hunting
Another great video. I love to see those fortifications like that because you are never really sure there purpose which makes you wonder more. But also watching this video on the way home from st Augustine Florida where poncedeleon landed and going to the first settlements of the new world but also learned some new history that there was a German uboat in st Augustine that torpedoed a merchant vessel and the lighthouse there was used as a lookout for German uboats in the harbor. But anyways have a great one history hunter.
i loved the catridge handles!Another beautifull and full of history location as expected. i laughed at training for the spiders part.Imagine living at australia where everything including spiders want to eat you there and if you survive maybe a kangaroo can punch you in the face!at least in europe nature is more friendly :)

Excellent Dad tactics- a swift kick to EE's butt should keep him in line. Nice relaxing music during the intro. What an incredible view from that location. Would have just loved to struggle up the hill with you & EE. Yes, must have been an omen with the propeller aircraft flying overhead. Thanks for the pic of the 20mm Flak gun so we can envision what it might look like. That sure was a huge Regelbau German bunker with a huge network of running trenches. And yes we do wish we could have went down in the trenches with you. Very effective camouflage. Oh not spiders 😬! Be brave HH. A shame that entrance was closed off with rocks. History hunting can definitely be dangerous, so continue to be careful. What a find locating the 20mm cartridges. Very resourceful using them as handles. Maybe they did have bonfires there roasting sausages and marshmallows 😋. So many more structures to see on that location. Will anxiously wait for P2. Thanks HH & EE. Stay safe, stay healthy.
