      @@aft-fishing90 Much of your technique is the same as mine, but I liked your way of loading up a prawn in another video and of course the use of a wide mouth hook for flathead you showed in yet another clip. Keep up the great work. I see you have lots of poddy mullet in another clip and it would be interesting for you to share your trap and technique. I have use the Alvey trap and made many different versions of traps but your success is very encouraging and perhaps you are using one of those newer acrylic types which seem to be working well. Thanks for your sharing.

    Do you ever pay out line to let them run or do you hook them off the rod in a holder? Thanks!

      From what I know the normal j hook long shank you need to strike so a tight line is recommended sometimes it's not needed but tention is key to help hook the fish. I recently switched to long shank hooks I find it easier to remove and less bite offs on my line but bream swallow hooks often so a removal tool does come in handy.
