- Stax Records Soul legend and studio musician Donald 'Duck' Dunn has played on hundreds of records for Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Rufus Thomas, Carla Thomas, William Bell, Eddie Floyd, Johnnie Taylor, Albert King, Bill Withers, Elvis Presley and many others. In 1992, he was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Booker T. & the M.G.'s.
In 2007 at SXSW he spoke with Noise11.com's Tim Cashmere.

Duck handed me his guitar and showed me how to finger the start of Green Onions..I also handed him his guitar from the Winny we were in as the MG's were heading to Japan.
