I’m not 100% sure I have the correct meanings but since Bree seems to like somewhat “unusual” names, some i love, that she might like, are Elwood meaning “noble woods”, Evander which means “Good man” and Rockwell meaning “rock spring”.

For anyone looking to use many of these names, I would suggest doing more research into their true provenance. For example, the biblical origin of Jericho. Oberon is medieval/Shakespearen as is Cressida taken from Homer. Celestial bodies are often named after people, places etc from antiquity, so prudent to research further to avoid any meanings or associations you might dislike.

    Shams شمس(female): sun.
    Shurouq شروق (female) : sunrise.
    Fajr فَجْر (male) : dawn.
Qamar, rhymes with summer, (female) : moon.
Badr بَدْر (male) : full moon.
    Bodour بُدور (female) full moons.
Hilal هلال (male) crescent, the female version is Hilala هلالة, but in some places they can sound old fashioned.
Hala هالة (female) : aura or halo.
Layla ليلى (female) : night sky.
Najm نَجْم (male) : star, the female version is Najma نجمة but again some might consider them old.
Thuraya or Soraya ثريا (female) : constellation.
Tariq طارق (male) : bright star.
Shihab شهاب (male) : shooting star.

@@msaijay1153 there was a period of time where it was common for people to just take the male name and add the a ending to make it feminine, and you would find siblings with the same name basically, the majority of the these girls are grandmas now, so it is very old fashioned.

@@bettyjoy6361 It's actually quite common with young children to change the first name. But even older kids sometimes want the new names, to start a new chapter. If you have a conversation about it and the children want the new name (sometimes to fit in culturally if it is international adoption, sometimes just to start over) it should be fine.

    For the dilemma:
Basil - Quinn means “head, chief” and Basil means “king” so that could be a link between them. Also, the basil plant could be a plant link to Azalea and Rose tying the three siblings together
    Going with the rain/water theme:
    Douglas - dark river
    Conway - holy water
    Marinus/Mariano - of the sea
Timothy - Timothy grass is a plant so that could tie the three together subtly as well

I'm so happy to see Neoma on a list!!!! It's a favorite of mine and no one ever seems to like it. 😭
Others from the moon list I'm loving include Francisco, Jovian (😍), Celena, Phoebe, Oberon, Diana, and Artemis (my cat's name lol)
    Some other moon names:
    Altalune- "over the moon"
Evaluna- compound of Eva and Luna
    Qamar- Arabic name meaning moon
Osbert is honestly so cute. 💖
From the sun list I adore Marisol, Idalia, and Sunniva.
Some other sunny names I love:
Sóley- Icelandic name which literally translates to "sun island," but it's also the icelandic word for buttercup flowers! Sounds very similar to French Soleil, but the emphasis is more on Sol.
Apollo/Apollonia- Apollo was the Greek God associated with the sun, twin and counterpart to Artemis.
    Solana/Solara/Solaris/Soleil- "sun"
Domingo- Spanish word for Sunday a name sometimes given to boys born on a Sunday.
    Oriana/Oriane- Latin/French from Latin "sunrise"
Kiara- Korean name meaning "first ray of sun"
Iliodor- "gift of the sun" Russian variation of Greek Heliodor/Heliodoros. Liodor is another Russian variation.
I like Esther/Estelle/Estela/Estella/Estrella a lot, and Hesper is intriguing. Also loving Sterling, Lucien/Lucian/Luciano, and Galileo (or Galilea!)
    Other star names:
    Etoile- French, "star"
Yvaine- "Evening star" literary name from Neil Gaiman's fantasy novel, Stardust.
Maristela- compound of Maris and Stela/Stella, "sea and stars" or, "star of the sea"
    Svetlana- Russian, "star"
    Seren- Welsh for star
    Izar- Basque for star
    Polaris- Latin, "North star"

This is my favorite video of yours so far! I loved almost every name on it. Some have been on my name list forever (I named a character in a story I wrote Jericho). I’ve been crushing on Esther, Orion, and Cressida for a while now. My favorites that were new-to-me are Idalia & Lynx.

I know a couple girls called Blaise, which might be a more appealing spelling for some people who feel like Blaze is a bit to masculine for a girl. It is a different name though, and it means lisp or stutter, which isn’t the most alluring meaning, but if you’re thinking the meaning of blaze with a slightly softer spelling, I think it’s a good option!

How about Raiden Fiore. Raiden meaning thunder and lighting, and Fiore meaning blossoming flower.
Or Faro Zeypher. Faro meaning lighthouse, something you can see in the rain and Zeyher the name she’s not set on

I love this list! My 1st daughter is Luna and my 2nd daughter’s middle is Marisol. Having a boy next and hoping to link their names with a star meaning.
To add to this list: I also love the name Solena- its a spanish name meaning sunshine. And of course Elara- one of Jupiter’s moons.

My name is Nia Heulwen. Where Nia is a welsh version of the irish 'Niamh' meaning bright and Heulwen mean 'sunshine' in Welsh (pronounce Hey-L-When, two syllables). I don't think my mum new the Irish meaning of Nia at the time - but it fits! Great video, SJ - loved this theme!

For Bree, I recommend: Zephyr Thor. Zephyr for the reasons she described and Thor because they have finally "tamed the storm". Also it's a strong name and it reflects his mother's and father's strength in persevering on their familiy journey. It also gives me "protector vibes", like he will protect his sisters and himself, so they won't be the the only ones protecting him.

Love love love Eliana, also like the short version Elia, or you've mentioned on the podcast before Elara being a moon of Jupiter. I met an Orion "in the wild" as you say 😂 and this it is such a cool name for a boy. Lyra would also be a cute girls' name. It is a constellation, although it doesn't have a celestial meaning.

For the dilemma, Ruka is the name I love it isn't very common in UK/US - it's a Japanese name but also used quite a lot in Europe, it means Bright Blue Flower and you can use the nickname 'Roo' for short, I feel like it would tie in well with her daughter's flower name but also as symbolism after what she's been through, something beautiful that will bring colour into her life. It goes well with a hyphen or middle names that are two syllables, perhaps she could find a middle name that means miracle or hope!

    Indigo (again rainbow baby themed)
    Raiden (thunder and lightening)
    Torben (Thunder Bear)
Or Sol (just meaning sun - after night rain and a rainbow).
