It depends brand to brand,like i m using OnePlus 8 and for edl mode ,there is no need to open back panel and short test point ,u can access edl mode by volume keys combo also there is msm tool till OnePlus 9 series , there u can flash stock firmware via edl mode ,no need to have authorised account but after oppo takeover , OnePlus is not releasing that tool for op10 and newer device and that's why there is no custom rom devlopment for these devices

My realme 3pro SD710 got hard brick I also need help...
Today i visited to poco service center as i m having delay and lags after updating to miui 13 in my poco x3 pro device , they suggested to downgrade to device and never update it again . From miui 13 to miui 12.5.4 as my device is under warranty service so they don't charge me . They also said if device is bricked under the process they will provide me redmi note 10 pro. I don't know what poco or Xiaomi is upto software updates are provided to increase the performance and for security purposes but what the hell is wrong with these company. I will never buy poco or Xiaomi phone ever. As far as service center are good only until your phone is under warranty plz guys don't buy these device for yourself or your family members.
You are 110% right. I have also experienced same for my poco x3(karna) yesterday.
my poco x3 died and sadly it wasnt an x3 pro so they didnt extend warranty and here i am with a dead phone.
Redmi Note 12 Pro got soft brick after installing wrong region rom. Its struck in Fast Boot, I can also go in recovery. What could be the solution ?
Same happened with my phone now it will turn on and after five sec automatically it will go shut down and repeat is there any solution?
