Have you considered reacting to The Good Place?
Amenadiel said: "Mom never liked you" and I haven't stopped laughing since
So much sibling energy there
My favorite moments:
1. Lucifer's devastated "Chloe!" cry and the "no no no no no no! This is all my fault!" Tom Ellis shined with the emotion in this moment.
2. His total and complete selflessness and acceptance of his fate when he says "So be it!" Something about the way Tom delivered that simple line really got me.
3. Lauren's incredible emotional cry "you took the man I love from me!"
4. "I choose you because...I love you." Finally.
5. Tom's acting while handing over the ring to Chloe. He really made sure the distress in his voice told us once that ring was off, he was in pain from burning.
6. "Mom never liked you" 😂 Damn straight Amenadiel.
7. "Detective!"
8. Lucifer having come back from heaven and showing mercy, while still exacting punishment.
9. Maze's battle cry.
10. This is not discussed enough, Amenadiel taking the knee first of anyone (Michael not included, as his knee was only out of defeat) and the look of pride for his brother on his face. That relationship really developed into something beautiful. Even after learning of self actualization, Amenediel never gave up on Lucifer being "his test" and I think a part of him feels in that moment like he passed a test he set for himself with his brothers redemption.
"just gotta send Linda down there" how right and wrong you are Rick
This is the second time Rick mentions something like that. Did Calvin lose his rank as detective?
Why you guys love to spoiler🙄
@@eriksantos418 not even a spoiler..
Decent finale although it’s a shame Covid meant that final showdown had to be tweaked to be a socially distanced battle. Totally agree with Eric about the tone of the show. One minute it’s cheesy, but then you have really emotional moments. With a weaker cast I don’t think it’d have been as good as it has been. They core cast are all great.
I didn't realise that. Its probably why I was disappointed at the so called "army" of angels.
yeah it's a huge shame because it was too few people for the grandeur of the battle
Calvin saying who the fuck is that guy is honestly the highlight of my day
Calvin: WhO ThE FuCK iS ThIS gUY
Aaron: It's her dad jeez Calvin shut the fuckin, jeezzz 😂😂
The definition of Heaven was great. It's like the show "The Good Place". when you're in a perfect world where everything is always 100% amazing and nothing bad ever happen, you end up getting bored after thousands of years of having done everything there is to do.
That's exactly what I thought watching it! and mr said out bitch actually said fork, so it's all a big heaven lol
I'd love to see them react to the Good Place
As Eve pointed out.
I so agree with Eric.
This series is everything it makes you laugh it makes you angry be stressed fear and cry so many emotions in one series
I love just how Azrael used.
The surprise she is there.
.
.
.
.
.
.
And the fear and horror when you realize she is there to do her job.
The dread and panic of the moment when it hit me why she was there... unparalleled i cant even describe it
I was wondering when she was going to come back, and she was being saved for this significant scene.
The actor that plays Dan, I can't remember his name without looking it up right now, but he actually directed several episodes. I think he directed the episode where he was killed. (edit: yes I got it everybody, Kevin Alejandro lol)
His name is Kevin Alejandro and he directed 3x26, 5x08, 6x01, 6x09
kevin michael alejandro, I literally cant forget it after hearing him say it
@@gntyh with a latino vibe :))
he also voices jayce in arcane
Kevin Alejandro.
My favorite part is Azrael showing up. I enjoy the twist of her not being there to help, but just to do her job.
Eric you are so right, this show makes us go through different kind of feelings, this is what it makes this show so unique. I loved S6.
Little facts : the floating head at 14:56 was modeled after Joe Henderson one of the showrunners and writers of the show - and Chloe's dad in heaven is Leslie Ann Brandt (Maze) actual husband IRL.
For me this episode could have been a great end for Lucifer and Chloe storyline (not really the other characters yet but season 6 is here for that). I really liked the fight in the air, the seriousness of Lucifer, Tom Ellis' double performance, Azrael showing up just before Chloe's death and the funny bits like can't touch that. I have only watched the 6th season once and i have mixed feeling about it, so i really want to see their reaction. It's a fine season but not as great as the 5th for me.
I agree, season 6 closes out the story for others, Charlie is a Nephilim, Dan goes to Heaven, Amenadiel becomes God but there for Linda and Charlie, Maze and Eve live happily, Ella finds out the truth and is happy with Dan's friend
Still not watched 6 going to before next week but heard some stuff and I was like do I really need to watch it and I can have this as my end
@@wolf99000 You should watch it. The ending is a little mixed but there’s definitely some good and you’re missing out on A LOT by avoiding the sixth season
@@wolf99000 id reccomend watching it tbh. I enjoyed it
i would recommend to watch it too, at least once to make your own mind and be able to discuss it in the comments ahah, and you can do what I did, I consider s5e16 to be my ending, and s6 is just a bonus season to me :)
"Mom never liked you." 😆
8:42 "melt it down turn it into bullets wow that's a really good prediction lol
I am so happy that Netflix almost made the show runners make one more season because while I did love this episode and how the season ended it really didn’t feel complete. Especially with the ending implying that Lucifer was going to become God, it just didn’t feel like a true ending. Also I have no idea how almost all of the angels sided with Michael, especially after he admitted he murdered their sister Remiel.
Plus as awesome as this season was the final season is probably the best season of the series.
Lesser evil I guess. At least that's what they think of Michael comparing to Lucifer when the truth is the opposite.
@@Energized8401 Michael had the flaming sword and could have and would have killed any of his siblings as we know to get what he wanted. Lucifer said himself that Michael had their 'support' only by threats and fear and he was going to to convince them by truth...but obviously fear was stronger.
@@Energized8401 Lucifer never murdered any of them. And based on how the angel of righteousness sided with Lucifer they should’ve taken that as a sign that Lucifer might actually be the better choice. I mean if one of my brothers admitted they murdered my sister just to gain power I’d probably kill him.
@@thedarkknight2221 aren't you forgetting Lucifer killing his brother Gabriel as well way back. @celiafox explanation looks more probable.
@@Energized8401 he killed Gabriel to protect both his mother and Chloe. Michael only did it for power.
On to the final season! Season 6 was the perfect way to wrap up the series. The finale in particular was completely satisfying and fitting.
Agree to disagree. Season 6 was a disaster.
@@MsDanibanani90 Agree to disagree. Season 6 was great
@@leleo2219 Agree to disagree, season 6 was....fine.
I think season 6 has its ups and downs, but I really like the finale, and I think it works way better than this one
@@MsDanibanani90 season 6 was okay not a disaster tho last season of got was a disaster
When he was in the van with this guy, he asked what his name was…he said, “said out, bitch!” He’s been Mr. Said Out Bitch ever since.
This moment that everyone gets up and kneels to Lucifer is amazing! I got up and did it too.
We've been following him for 5 seasons and he's so changed and evolved and in season 6 he will finally find his true destiny and love himself and that's the big message of the series I'm so looking forward to seeing you guys in season 6 it's time to say goodbye to Lucifer.
(But there are two more months and two weeks to enjoy those reactions)
This episode for me was like “This is the greatest love story written for TV in a while”
Covid screwed up the execution, but I would have been happy with this ending. Season 6 is mixed to say the list. The cast really elevated this show to be way better than it should have been.
I always see these mixed reactions to season 6 but I really enjoyed it. I compare it to part 7 of JoJo, just a great big celebration of what made the show great.
the new character was a bit weird, but the wings are fucking awesome so it balances out. Lindas book and the eventual conclusion were great as well.
if this was executed better maybe it wouldve been an alright ending but i do like seeing lucifers character reach the points he reaches
According to the showrunners we would still have gotten the same end we got in season 6 if season 5 would have been the last season. The end of season 6 was always(since the beginning) the planned end for the show. This last episode of season 5 would vave been only 10-20 minutes longer to give us the end we got. (Only the new character would not have been there): The showrunners said this all in old interviews
how did you comment this 4 weeks ago when they uploaded this two days ago?
I can’t believe we’ve reached the final season! I’ve been fallowing you guys since you started Lucifer, and now we’re almost at the end!!! :)
i mean the heaven discussion is exactly why Eve left
Another great reaction ❤ enjoyed it as always!
About the lines maze said to eve. The one you searched for is actually a part of the vows of the actress herself in real life. Another fact, her husband is the actor who plays chloe's dad.
And I agree with Eric, the show gives us all the feelings and it one of the reasons what makes it unique and great! The hammer time was hilarious, one of my favorite moments. Also, the way we all were confused about the bus in the beginning, like are we watching lucifer ? Same thought 😂.
Also, I had the same exact reaction about lucifer going to heaven that it reminded me of Hercules.
Oh my me was hilarious too. It was a great ep. I can't believe you guys actually finished s5. You guys only have s6 which only 10 episodes left. 🥺
I can't wait to see the reactions to it and for specific scenes. Excited and sad at the same time bc its the last few episodes "reactions" for lucifer.
That was *supposed to be* the *series* finale, before they added Season 6. The problem is that Season 5 had already been finished, and they didn't change it.
Personally, I would have edited 5x16. The season would have ended on a cliffhanger as Lucifer said *"SO. BE. IT."* and flew off towards heaven.
Season 6 could have then begun with the traditional season opening scene with _"Mr. Said Out B1tch"_ and Lucifer in heaven.
That was a GREAT finale...
Can't wait to see what Blind Wave is going to think about Season 6!?
One thing I know for sure Is Eric Is going to love It!
The fact that the Angel of Righteousness is backing Lucifer says ALOT!❤😮😂
Came for the reaction video, stayed for the debate on centaur sex. Loved this episode, gonna miss the show...
?? There is season 6 though!
@@asaulfsdotter2530 oh yeah, I know! Just finished it. 🙂
That was an awesome season finale!!! Can't wait for more crew!
cant wait til season 6 yall. first couple episodes are slow but it ends perfectly in my opinion. looking forward to more from you guys!
You know what I don’t get, when amenadiel was stabbed by malcolm or detective stache with a demon blade. Maze was able to heal amenadiels wound with one feather of Lucifer’s wings and yet he never heals anyone else with his wings. Plus he can self actualize his wings to grow back if he loses feathers
Aahhh Lucifer's Dumbledore moment... the answer is LOVE!!! *clap clap*
originally this was the series finale until Netflix renewed for the final season 6
I really wish they would have stuck to that decision. Would have made for a much better ending than whatever that disaster of s6 was.
You are wrong, google interviews with the showrunners Ildy and Joe .The end of season 6 was always the planned end for the whole (only the new character would not have been there.)(according to interviews with the showrunners)
S5e16 would have been ony a few minutes longer to fit in the end of season 6. But we would have gotten nevertheless the same end only in a very rushed way.
I like how the guys are asking why didnt God choose a successor and prevent this war and they reason out that Gods chosen successor isnt ready yet but because of this war and other experiences he will get there.
Yeah, it *_was_* kinda dishonourable on the heroes' part in that they challenged Michael to a 1v1 battle for the universe (when Michael's side would've almost certainly won in an all-out battle between the two sides) only to break that agreement by having Chloe intervene just as Michael was about to win. But the episode as a whole was still amazing and one of my favourites if not my favourite of the entire series.
I mean, it started out with Lucifer having nothing, and Micheal having the Flaming Sword, which can even cut through space and time, so i think fairness was thrown out the window long before the fight began
i mean michael was in armor and had a flaming sword capable of wiping out any form of existence permanently... and lucifer was in a suit with a stick... fairness is gone at this point lmao.
I mean, it was an impossible fight for Lucifer: Only Azrael Blade can kill an angel and it was a fight to the death, so Michael had the means to kill Lucifer but Lucifer had no way to kill Michael. It was unfair from the beginning.
Maybe an unpopular opinion? With a little bit of tweaking, I really think this is where the show should have ended. Season 6 is... fine, but with the two Dan episodes and this pretty solid finale, I think this is where Lucifer peaked.
agreed, haven't finished season 6 yet as I don't feel its as good as s5
Season 6 had some fun moments, and I'm glad Ella finally found out, but I didn't think the whole Rory story was necessary at all.
@@dermathze700 Spoilers!
Dan was annoying as hell
This was definitely the peak of lucifer. Season 6 was EXTREMELY unnecessary outside of Dan and some ella shenanigans.
*_"GGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!"_*
...
*_"Oh, come ON!"_*
a great season finale, now on to season 6!
I am struck by how much the Lucifer/Michael fight looks and feels like a quidditch game in Harry Potter.
God does know about Uriel. But he might've ignored it because Uriel decided to go rogue?
Uriel wanted to wipe out of existence the woman god still loved
You all gotta check out "My Name", it's a Korean show on Netflix. It's pretty awesome.
stickman?? you mean Gandalf!!
STOP! HAMMER TIME! Lol i loved that
Great reaction to a fantastic show! To address the grain of rice vs a heap, the Netflix show The Good Place takes an excellent approach; I have a feeling that you guys would have a blast watching it, though your point won't be answered until the final season. Hell of a ride in the meantime, though.
I don't think Lucifer really likes rap or hip hop music that's why "can't touch this" isn't his strong musical performance 😅
Oh My Me!
I would've like to have seen more non-dialogue stunt extras playing Angels because there wasn't really an "army" of angels, more like a gang.
The fact that this was supposed to be the finale for the whole series is so bad 😂...glad they green lit one more season to wrap it all up
HAHA!!!!! That’s what I was like too at the start of the episode!
“Why bus?”
Recently i realized mr said out b guest starred in Bones
It wasn’t the hand in Canada. In case no one told y’all.
Wouldn't it be cool if God and the Goddess made it so that Angels that die go to her Universe? After all, in spite of her faults she does love her children and would want to see them again if possible.
Maze's husband in real life I think . The man Chloe dad in heaven.
it honestly disturbs me that Eric is so okay with attempted murderers and home invaders that he expects the victim to just ''get over it, that meant nothing'' just because the attacker is in a bad spot!
Meanwhile, in the most recent Flash discussion, he said that if somebody broke into his house but was injured, he would have no obligation to help him and would therefore let him die.
@@brucesimmons5517 well he is a man that is clearly led by his bias , Terry silver can do no wrong and neither Johnny Lawrence who can be boorish , sexist, degrading and downright selfish, and is from my neutral perspective worse than Daniel's flaws but since Johnny is funny his flaws can be tolerated while Daniel in his mind is always the worst one
@@dimilp1308 I don't watch Cobra Kai, but that may also be because of how the show is presenting the characters. Isn't Johnny the protagonist?
@@brucesimmons5517 they both are! but it does focuses more on Johnny
i need the book of boba fett reaction now lol
😂😂best show ever
Imagine if/when Trixie finds out that she was an *ORPHAN* (briefly)!
(Based on watching Season 6, it's sort of inevitable that she finds out _"It's all true!")_
It's also interesting that Lucifer has horns in both Chloe's _"Love Handles"_ (wet) dream as well as in Trixie's fridge drawing.
Trixie has always known
" Oh My Me!! "
I do not care what people think about season 6 because I have what I want it was my big parting from this series I saw the characters I love for so long (two years and two months) in moments I always wanted to see them ever. I thought the episode that Dan died is the episode I cried oh the most ever and nothing will surpass it .... but then I saw episode 9 and episode 10 in season 6 and you do not want to know the amount of tears that fell from my eyes a perfect and exciting ending.
And I'll talk about it a lot more during their reactions to season 6
i really liked everything with Rory and Lucifer in season 6 idc what y'all say
same..i also liked it
I literally HATE seeing maze fucking cry😭 like dont make me cry too bestie
Fun Fact: The guy who plays Chloe's dad is Maze's real life husband.
"Oh .. my .. ME .."
HOW?!
No beards in heaven lol
What film is the "cowardly to value life" from?
Within the show's mythology - If evil on Earth is a free choice of mankind, how many criminal acts have been committed by escaped demons inhabiting recently dead bodies ? I'm guessing the majority of criminal acts on Earth are mostly humans', but its fun to speculate
by looking at how Lucifer react when a demon came to Earth without his permission, I'm quite sure they don't come to Earth normally.
Lucifer 6x1 next week !!!!!
Damn you didn’t show your reaction to maze’s scream
8:54 what movie were they referencing?
Mortal Kombat Annihilation
Can’t wait for you to watch final season.

After the last season of this I hope they watch Money Heist.

Ayyy
If I speak, Blind Wave will ban me for spoilers.
I don't think they've ever explained how Lucifer survived heaven.
He survived long enough to save Chloe thanks to both Lilith's immortality ring and Lee Garner (aka. Mr. Said Out Bitch). By the time they reached her, the ring only had enough power left to bring Chloe back, but Lucifer's heroic Hercules-style sacrifice of love proved him worthy to be the new God, and thus he was made so. All part of the original God's plan.
The most popular theory I've seen about this scene is that his banishment, just like his devil face and Amenadiel's fall, were self-made. Once he "gave" his life to save Chloe and officially said he chose her over anything else he felt worthy again and the self-inflicted banishment was lifted. This theory based itself on God never truly banishing Lucy to begin with and everyone just believing he did.
There's an other theory saying that if God did banished Lucy, that banishment was lifted when he stepped down from being God. I personally don't like this one and am more toward the first one as it make more sense lore wise.
16:25
Thank god for season 6
Thank god they did season 6. all of the arcs of other characters were fufilled. Show should have never made lucifer god imo and thank gof season 6 changed that.
@@MoviesAndTvShowsAreSubjective Well, they needed Lucifer to have the final battle against Michael and win the war, thus saving the universe from being forever under the tyranny of an evil God. It was not a mistake to make Lucifer God for the time being. Besides, he never truly ascended anyway.
@@TheGreater-ScopeVillain yeah. That is true
18:44 if you asked me that a few years ago, I would have said probably yes, but these days?...

I am so sure I saw Kit Harington between the Angel's. Looks too much like him...
Supernatural fight < Lucifer fight
I was thinking about that, like this one looks so much better, both because of the choreography and the fact that we can actually see the wings, which makes it less obvious that it’s two dudes on strings

I adhere to the theory that God in this universe in nothing more than a douche that thinks he can predict the future.
For me it simply makes more sense with the message of the show, people need to own up to their own action so for them to say that all the shit that happened is part of some masterplan seems counter-intuitive. I understand that the producers didn`t want to further aggravate pent up Christians... but this is a TV show trying to amuse and pass a message during the process, so this ending seems much more fitting, while S6 is just utter blabber
