I was not expecting the laughter and excitement that came from the Blind Wave crew when they saw the photo of vacation Lucifer and Cain hugging. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised.

Honestly the series should have a ton of seasons. There's so much information that can be explored, even if it's just a focus on minor characters. The characters are what truly make the series what it is, so we'd be down for like 5 more seasons.
On the Marc and Luke thing- Lucifer doesn't lie, so whatever names they used had to be super close to their real names. Lucifer isn't lying when he calls Marcus "Marc" he's just leaving off the "us." The Biblical context is just an added bonus.
Reasons this I one of the best episodes of Lucifer. 1. Lucifer doing a Daredevil style hallway fight scene. 2. Maze trying like HELL to fuck Charlotte, even saying she would’ve been down for a 3 way with Dan, which if he had done that would’ve made him a god among men! 3. Seeing Cain squirm pretending to be married to Lucifer. 4. Lucifer trying to be as loud and annoying as possible by turning into the human embodiment of Spike TV and MTV.

I think the characters chose Marc & Luc as their aliases but it's an show Easter egg referring to gospel names. Btw, Luc & Marc are valid name spellings & pronounciations in the French language. Since the writing team is international, e.g. show started up in Canada, we've had people named Luc (pronounced Luke) up here for ages. ^.^ Also French love to hyphenate gospel names, e.g. Jean-Luc
"Master Molecule Theory": there is one particular molecule, and whatever piece of the body is attached to that molecule is the piece that regrows. And like Rick said, it took 6 months to recover from the volcano. So my guess is he was basically vaporized, and when the volcano erupted (which can be a mild runoff of lava), it deposited that master molecule onto land. When the lava cooled, that molecule grew back into Cain.
The more I think about Cain's punishment, the more cruel and horrific I find it. Lol, this is why you should never be the first at anything. First murderer got shafted hard. Lmao
My information is that it wasn't improvised. It was planned. But Tom Ellis held it longer than he had to, because he was amused by Tom Welling's discomfort with it.

He literally has a romantic interest in Chloe, liking her over anyone else, for several reasons other than her being a woman, but because of his carnal fascination with how she's making him different. It is very true that the media is afraid of certain representation, but there are several moments in the show where he's more than comfortable, and even willing to go out of his way with male individuals, as he's slept with over 5 in the show, flirted with around 3, and is very open about it, and even kissed a man for a prolonged period of time (literally seen here). You aren't "More Straight" for leaning toward the opposite gender, while also liking both. He knows knows what he likes. It isn't a lie that media is a bit afraid of LGBT things, and TV aren't super easy with stepping into those waters. I like the humor of this episode, the stuff between Lucifer and Pierce is really funny... but I never did understand why Pierce wasn't willing to go along with the ruse better - they were undercover, trying to catch a killer. I know he hates Lucifer (lol), but I wouldn't expect him to mess with the case, especially if he doesn't want to tip off Chloe that something's going on and he's been hiding who he really is. I wish we'd have seen him be all lovey with Lucifer while others are watching (so they can figure out who's the killer), but immediately turn sullen and surly as soon as they're alone again. :)

I'm afraid I think there's zero chance it was a Star Wars reference. And I seriously doubt it had anything to do with the Mark of Cain.
my plan to kill kain would be: TLDR: unconcious, into pieces, into multiple small metal boxes. first i would make sure, that he is not concious while he is 'incapacitated'. if to kain it feels like falling asleep and waking back up once the body is fixed, that works. next we cut him into a bunch of small pieces and stuff him in multiple airtight strong metal boxes, built to withstand any possible pressure coming from the inside. it would be good if the head gets split and seperated into small enough parts to ensure no thoughts are 'possible'. should nothing happen, we would open the boxes and reassemble him after 3 days to make sure he remembers and felt nothing during that time. if successfull, repeat and wait 1 year to reassemble. if after 1 year there were no sideffects, put him into a "permanent sleep". should he be released and awaken at some point he can find you to repeat the process, potentially keeping him "dead" for long periods of time, awakening only shortly to be put back to sleep. an upside would even be, that he would never have to "live" in hell eternaly, and lucifer could keep searching for a permanent solution in the meantime. or, you know, fly into the sun or better even a black hole. if the sun blows up and you reform in space that could suck (if his healing factor keeps him alive and awake in empty space). should lack of air or freezing temperatures keep him "under", then problem "solved". But if not, black holes live for extremely long times, and if black holes ever explode, it would be at a time when he would be f....d anyway.

Pierce already spoke about how he is not sorry for ANYTHING he has done. And you guys seem to forget he is Sinnerman. He is NOT a good person. if he were to die he would not go to Hell as it would have no power over him and God does not want him, in Heaven. So the Mark of Cain keeps him alive till he feels sorry for something, then he will be mortal because then he is gonna go to Hell. It is not rocket science to understand. A friend I watched this with caught on the first time we saw this episode.

Believe it or not the kiss at the end was improvised! It wasn't in the script, but Tom ellis decided to go for it and they kept it in. Also Lucifer is vulnerable near Chloe because Chloe's mom was blessed by Amenadiel so she could be born.

next we cut him into a bunch of small pieces and stuff him in multiple airtight strong metal boxes, built to withstand any possible pressure coming from the inside. it would be good if the head gets split and seperated into small enough parts to ensure no thoughts are 'possible'.
should nothing happen, we would open the boxes and reassemble him after 3 days to make sure he remembers and felt nothing during that time. if successfull, repeat and wait 1 year to reassemble. if after 1 year there were no sideffects, put him into a "permanent sleep". should he be released and awaken at some point he can find you to repeat the process, potentially keeping him "dead" for long periods of time, awakening only shortly to be put back to sleep.
an upside would even be, that he would never have to "live" in hell eternaly, and lucifer could keep searching for a permanent solution in the meantime.
or, you know, fly into the sun or better even a black hole. if the sun blows up and you reform in space that could suck (if his healing factor keeps him alive and awake in empty space). should lack of air or freezing temperatures keep him "under", then problem "solved".
But if not, black holes live for extremely long times, and if black holes ever explode, it would be at a time when he would be f....d anyway.

Pierce already spoke about how he is not sorry for ANYTHING he has done. And you guys seem to forget he is Sinnerman. He is NOT a good person. if he were to die he would not go to Hell as it would have no power over him and God does not want him, in Heaven. So the Mark of Cain keeps him alive till he feels sorry for something, then he will be mortal because then he is gonna go to Hell. It is not rocket science to understand. A friend I watched this with caught on the first time we saw this episode.

Lucifer was awesome in this episode and Cain was a lucky bastard to get kissed by him btw I hated Marcus/Cain and would never ship him with anyone esp Lucifer causer he’s the best:) also Tom Ellis is so sexy and a great actor. Tom welling on the other hand is bland for me. He’s the weak version on Clark Kent never liked him lol

Believe it or not the kiss at the end was improvised! It wasn't in the script, but Tom ellis decided to go for it and they kept it in.
Also Lucifer is vulnerable near Chloe because Chloe's mom was blessed by Amenadiel so she could be born.
