Here’s what happened: Some students got PERMISSION to do a fun harmless senior prank with confetti and balloons. Apparently, word got out and some other students decided to take it too far. I feel bad for the students who did get permission because they were the ones that got caught, even though they were allowed to do it.
@@ritaschiferl3615 Some students actually got permission to do a harmless prank with balloons and confetti, but word got out and other students took it too far. So it’s not technically breaking and entering. It makes me so frustrated because the students who were allowed to do this got caught instead of the others who actually vandalized the school
Over reaction. Coming from a student. Don’t be gung ho about assuming the worst. Only a few kids actually took this too far the rest of them were actually innocent and wanted to just put balloons everywhere and confetti + the confetti streams string things. I am a Junior but over the announcements at school, it isn’t as bad. The news made our school seem like it was filled with hellhounds and we are not comprised of those.
@@krashsytegaming9222 The kids who DIDN'T take it too far needed to stop the ones who did. I know most adults don't do that either, but be better than them. PS That's thousands of $ worth of damage. No wonder your teachers and admins are upset. And disappointed to tears too, I'd imagine.

New Braunfels High School Class of 1995 here. I am furious! I don't know what in the hell is wrong with these kids, but my high school class had a lot of respect and pride in our school when we went there. These kids obviously have none, I'm strictly talking about the guilty students only. You break the rules, you don't get to graduate, no exceptions. And believe me, they are more scared of not getting to graduate, than they are of criminal charges! This is the way it has always been, and this Class is no more special than any other Class that has gone before them! Smashing and stealing trophies from the glass cases, trophies earned by great students, going back to the 1950's, who took great pride in being a NBHS Unicorn, unlike them! Flooding the school, throwing rotten meat, etc. Prank? None of that is funny, and if my child did that, I would have whooped her butt! High school student or not! And after all that, they want the PRIVILEGE of walking across that stage, to get their diplomas, the day all Seniors can't wait for?! Hell no! You lost that right, once you disrespected OUR school!
Student here, the seniors wild but my upperclassmen can get a little bit too much. There was rotten meat thrown about, the school was toilet papered, our trophies were stolen, we were egged, there was also flooding of the water fountains and the mashed potatoes were placed in the toilet paper as well. Class of 2023. Oh also, the bathrooms got thrashed.

I agree. But they better get ready to do 1000 hours of community service, and to be called in to deep clean tbe school over the summer. And they can pay some restitution. Because this is beyond kids being kids.

Vandalism is a crime, arrest them and send them to jail. period! 👍
Not to mention, breaking and entering!!
@@ritaschiferl3615 you would make a terrible judge or police officer. You’d abuse power 100 percent

Breaking and Entering is considered a criminal trespass under Texas Penal Code! You were there unauthorized. They should all be suspended and fined.
