I live in Alabama and it stormed yesterday, and after, my brother took some beautiful pics of the sky at my mom's house and I got some out here where I live, and y'all, the sky was yellowish orange, my phone service sucks out here, so the videos and pics I got don't even do it justice!!! Had 2 MASSIVE and 3 small trees snap in half and laid across my front yard this afternoon in NC. Storm came from nowhere. The weather is just insane this year. Stay safe everyone, wherever you are.
People should move all of their valuables to the second floor and find hilly places to park their cars. Clean out ditches and culverts to keep the water flowing too!

I'm on the coast of North Carolina. Watching, preparing and praying this is not a Dennis/Floyd Situation like in 1999. We had tropical storm Dennis hit, go out to sea and hit us again. Less than 10 days later hurricane Floyd hit. Half of my county was under water. We were without power for 2 weeks. We were camping with the children back then. We placed our pop up camper in the driveway. We had gas grills, anything you needed to feed your family. We invited all the neighbors to come cook, get in the ac.. fast forward 2.5 decades. Our rivers are overflowing now days before Debby's arrival ( potentially) Praying for everyone in the path of Debby 🙏
Yes.. my family and I experienced Floyd's flood. Southern part of Pitt County. Our entire little town was under water. Police station. Our one grocery store... You could only see the very top of the grocery stores roof. Caskets floating down the middle of town. No electricity for at least 2 weeks but I'm kinda thinking it was little over 3 weeks for us. It was definitely one to remember. But we all got through that. It brings out the best in ppl. In the majority of ppl anyways. Humbles us and allows us to be strong together and for one another. So we will get through Debby if she decides to pay us a visit lol

See if you can find the cameras when it gets to the Outer Banks NC online. They have several. That area is very low and the ocean has cut trenches into the Sound side of that island before. The Red Drum tackle shop may have access for the cameras. So may the National Park Service there. I use to spend summers there and fished in the surf.

Hurricane Arthur was a wild one, I remember all the damage done by that. It was cool to watch though. My equipment is hurting too lol, I'm running an MSI laptop but the cpu and gpu fans have both burnt out so now I'm using a cooling pad to keep it cool, buttons are melting lol so I expect it will catch fire eventually, at this rate.
