Broooooo I'm so happy 🥲 Thank you for taking my suggestion, that's a huge compliment. ✌🏻 Just seeing you get lost in the music made my day. 💯 Now I love how I'm scrolling through the comments and people are suggesting the entire album 😄 The album (mono) is completely free, by the way. That's how BTS release their solo work. The song "STRANGE" by Agust D and RM that I've seen suggested is a nice one, too. (Agust D is SUGA from BTS.) I'm gonna put one of your t-shirts on my birthday wish list.
So happy it made your day!! 😊 Like I said, you took my taste into consideration and you've been very supportive of the channel (reaction and my original music)! It doesn't go unnoticed and means a lot my friend. So thank you! Happy to have you here guiding me through my BTS journey! 🔥🙏❤ I'll definitely put that Agust D song on my list 💯
So my older sister doesn't listen to BTS, but she when with me to my first BTS concert on Dec. 2nd and afterward I showed her some of my favorite BTS songs. I ended up showing her the full Mono Mixtape, but she really connected to Moonchild and Forever Rain.
BTS really loves their philosophy in their lyrics, the rappers each have a solo called "Persona", "Shadow" and "Ego" inspired by the psychology theory of the map of the soul And "Epiphany" is a beautiful comforting song you might enjoy, it's a ballad but the lyrics are beautiful - watching it live is far better than the MV as it doesn't include the full song in the video
Since you vibed with this, you will probably appreciate a song RM did with bandmate Suga (aka Agust D) on the latter’s solo mixtape, D2: it’s a track called STRANGE. It is a deep philosophical song, but also chill, and it captures the typical reflective dialogue between these two old friends. I highly recommend the whole mixtape, with titles such as PEOPLE. Both RM and Suga are strong songwriters , and produce many of their own songs.
"Mono" has been my comfort album since it was released in 2018, especially the track "everything goes", it feels like Namjoon is telling you that "everything will pass, just keep going". If you want to feel the emotions he was expressing in that song, definitely check it out!
I loved your interpretation of the song because this is the song I identify with. Moonchild is part of his mixtape, or playlist as RM calls it, titled 'mono'. Every song is unique and has this kind of vibe, you should check the whole playlist out. Seoul is another song that has a lyric video like this one and I'm convinced you'll like it as well
This song means so much to so many of us. I wish I could count the number of times this song has pulled me out of some very dark places. Namjoon honestly speaks to my soul. I am glad you were able to find meaning in it that resonates with you. Thank you for your reaction. 💜
Moonchild is one of favorites from Mono I love Forever Rain, Mono took two years to produce love Mono it takes you on a journey in less then 30 minutes.
I feel like" magic shop" by the whole group is a similarly comforting song you might enjoy :) Though if you do "magic shop" is a therapeutic technique that lets you make a safe space mentally -helps understand the song
If you liked this, you would probably really appreciate a song RM did with bandmate Suga, on the latter’s mixtape, a track called STRANGE. It’s a deeply philosophical song while capturing a typical dialogue between these two old friends. Suga goes by the name, Agust D for his solo work, and his mixtape, D2, is a collection of mellow personal works. Highly recommended as it displays excellent songwriting and production qualities as well.
Lol Nah it's just funny because I was a fan before he even put out an album "Mixtaps About Nothing." And his first album was definitely solid but havent heard anything since. That's so cool!
@@Skullzrapper yeah it's an older song of theirs now, very relevant tho but BTS really are the king's of suprising collabs, from Warren G and fall out boy to Nicki Minaj, cold play and juice world 🤷🏻♀️
I love how when you know all songs BTS members wrote you can see how some of them thematicaly are related and comes from same thought almost but explained using diferent references and objects. RM wrote so much that sometimes to understand one song you have to go to listen another and then you get more full picture of what is song about. For me thematicaly some parts of Moonchild reminds of BTS song Microcosmos that RM also co-wrote. But instead of your thorns other find comfort in, he talks talks how just other people existence you see at night. Represented best by seing city night scape with lighten windows, can give you comfort and hope cause every window is also a person with whole unique universe inside them, different from you but also just like you, going through their own struggles in life, but that window and that light still able to make your night beautiful and give you comfort just by being there.
Mono as a whole is a masterpiece. I personally suggest that you check out "uhgood". It's from mono, and it's the song that I relate with the most, so, I'd love to see your take on that. [Would love it if you check out a lyric video, because this one has no music video]
RM is a genius, literarily he has an IQ OF 148. His lyrics are really deep and meaningful. You might also like his Forever Rain: MV with English subs: ruclips.net/video/Cvb76hBX_Oc/видео.html
I love this song, but every time I hear it, I get teary. It always affects me emotionally. I hope to see you do more of RM. Maybe check out Forever Rain by RM? The actual music video is on the HYBE Labels channel and thre's English subtitles.
full disclosure, i came here by recommendation of Angela, so thanks for the tip. And what a joy it was! i particularly loved your thoughts and ideas related to the lyrics.
Just an FYI - if there are lyrics on their videos, most of them are okay. I might use doolset to read the lyrics as a before or after watching the MV if there aren't lyrics, and maybe after a video that you weren't sure about lyrics being correct. Definititely enjoy the video, then break it down after if that is what you want to do. Forever Rain and Bicycle are two songs I think you would like. RM 'Forever Rain' MV - ruclips.net/video/Cvb76hBX_Oc/видео.html RM Bicycle Lyric video -ruclips.net/video/pZfQnPK6iJU/видео.html I really think you would like his 2nd mixtape - RM 'MONO'
if you want another philosophical song by BTS or BTS member there's a song called "People by Agust D". Agust D is SUGA from BTS, but Agust D is his stage name when he is solo. It gives similar vibes as moonchild but it's very different at the same time, it just has a very comforting sound and lyrics that's why i love it so much. He is also one of the rappers in BTS.
Hi skullz thank you for giving us a satisfying reaction video for BTS I hope you'll continue to listen to their music and I hope you'll get into them deeper and know their personalities too😊
Oh, I love RM solo works! He is so introspective and diverse with his lyrics and melodies. I have a feeling you might like "Reflection" which is another solo song from RM and "First love" which is a solo song from SUGA. If you look for any other recommendation I would suggest 3 songs, each one a solo song by a different BTS member (they are connected with each other and are kind of the core of their album "Map of the Soul: 7". Songs are: Persona (RM), Shadow (SUGA), and Ego (J-HOPE). Oh, and If you ever checked some of their live performances it would be amazing :)
RM's musics is far by my favorite if we're talking about their individual songs. All of them has their own each color in music but I'm particularly drawn to RM and Taehyung's musics. Please check out Winter Bear and share us your thoughts. Stay safe always❤️
Hi! I just wanted to say that I really liked your reaction videos since you always talk about your own interpretation of the song and i think that's an important part of videos like this. Everybody has their own life experiences and ways to view things so i'm glad you take the time to look for the translations even though it's hard and frustrating sometimes :( Also, it would be great if you check out the other songs of the playlist "mono". Personally, one of my favorites is 'everythingoes', the message has helped me go through some difficult times in my life and i'll never be tired of recommending it. And if you wanna hear some music from the other BTS' members, Yoongi (SUGA) released his second mixtape last year called 'D-2', you should give it a try :))
Thank you! 🙏 I really appreciate you saying that! That's why I like watching other people's reactions too. People interpret songs in such profound ways based on their experiences. Never seizes to surprise me ❤ Appreciate your comment!
Yeah, everythingoes is my fav tooo... Also badbay us a vibe mmm... Mono is very climatic for me I have to be in mood to play it but great work from RM. D-2 is more in my everyday style...
i know you were more focussed on the lyrics here as you should because yhese are some of my favourites but i cant not mention how amazing the production of the song was, all of their music is consistently well produced but this song really hits
I really recomend u the august d D-2 mixtape, RM's Mono mixtape and Jhope Hopeworld mixtape, they are the rappers on BTS an their solo music it's amazing 💜
I really enjoy your reaction, you are genuinely funny 💜😅 thank u for give BTS music a chance, i'm sure that u would find very good songs, also they have a Lot of individual songs that You may like
When I feel depressed at night sometimes thinking about if I wasted my whole day helping my family while my fellow mates completed their work then I listen to this "When moon rise, it's your time" . It's just a whole dose of confidence for me . I love this whole MONO ALBUM of RM. It's full of optimism.
You can never have wasted your day if you devoted it to helping your family, even if the price seems a bit high sometimes. God sees all, and will compensate for that. So keep your chin up! 😊
I would love to see your reaction to "First Love" and "The Last" by AgustD (Suga from BTS). Since I don't know your personal story yet I'll just let you know there may be a "trigger" in the latter since he talks about his mental health. Both songs are extremely personal, and the latter has actually been said to be one of the first pieces that spoke so openly about mental health in South Korea (since I'm not Korean, I'm just basing it on what I've read. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can help me out here).
RM also has a first mixtape called RM which is a total opposite from Mono and includes Joke, Throw away etc. This mixtape includes Seoul, Tokyo and others of this type. Not sure it is religious since he is an atheist and he said it was for those who are afraid of the sunlight and blossom under the light of the moon.
i love your reaction 💜 yeah, def recommend Agust D's "The Last" and SUGA's "First Love" well, Agust D and Suga are the same person, it's just "The Last" was released under his free mixtape and solo project and "First Love" was under the group's album which also have deep songs from each member...
@@Skullzrapper oh btw, *The Last* is very heavy, like the other comment i read, i also want to put trigger warning since i don't know your history ...it's about his mental health and his experience
Armys swear up and down for doolset, but personally I don't really like their translations. They're very literal and awkwardly translated, I think most like them because they give explanations as side notes which help you to understand certain things.
I really enjoy your BTS reactions/breakdowns. They are really thoughtful and sincere. My only wish is that you would do more of them! There is so much to react to. I would like to see you react to their song ON: kenetic manifesto film.
I really think you should listen to The Last by Agustd.. it touches on his journey with social anxiety and depression. Really both of his mix tapes are amazing, all the mix tapes from the BTS rap line are amazing! I highly suggest them
