I have made the recipe because it was the one with the healthiest ingredients. It is really delicious. I don't have the taste of rafaello. My cakes turns out a little flatter than yours. But it's worth to make. May make it again but yes it remains really caloric. I drank lemon water after a slice.😊

Okay listen up, i made this and i have a few things to say about this: it did not look like the thing she made at all. HOWEVER it was so delicious omfg u dont even know. They only thing i will be doing is add less sugar to the frosting, because it was e little too sweet fpr my liking. The cakne itself is delicous and the filling too. From now on i will top everything i will ever eat with roasted coconut. Im summary: make this, the look will disappoint but the taste will not.

Hi! You can use coconut milk for the cake but it won't work as well for the frosting. Are you using canned coconut milk? Try placing it into the refrigerator for about an hour and the cream will separate and solidify at the top. You can use a spoon to scoop it out and use it for the frosting :)

Hi Tatyana, I wanted to request for a little more clarity when baking this cake because mine didn't turn out that good or moist. I noticed that you don't state how long it takes for the cake to bake and because I didn't want to keep opening the oven I had to take a guess on how long to leave it in there for. Also, when you were sharing how to mix the ingredients you weren't very clear about how long we're supposed to mix it for. I began sifting the dry ingredients into the wet ones just how you did but the dry ingredients kept clumping so I felt like I ended up "over mixing" it because otherwise my cake batter would've been clumps of flour everywhere, could I just use an actual mixer instead of folding everything in, or will that cause the cake not to be moist? Thank you I'm sorry for such a long message I just want to get it as perfect as yours is.
For this particular cake, you want to very gently fold in the ingredients. Maybe next time, try sifting a very small amount every time you add the dry ingredients so they don't clump. The layers take about 20 to 22 minutes in the oven, just until the top is golden :)

Can I substitute butter with something else in this recipe? As I tried this cake.. it came out soft moist and delicious.. but when I refrigerated it , it became dry... And I had to microwave each peice before eating...I think it was because of butter... And would this cake work if I want to make a 2 teir cake?
You can use oil for this recipe, too. I always recommend letting the cake sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes after refrigerating, that will let the layers soften again :)

+Marie Mifsud That's a great question! To get a flat top cake, just avoid overmixing the flour. Once you start adding flour, mix just until combined so the gluten doesn't get overdeveloped. Works every time! :)

Yes, you can use coconut with the all-purpose flour. You do need some all-purpose flour for the cake to come together
