That new work truck looked great with the headache rack, the bed rails, and that front bumper that was on there. Useful work truck additions make the truck look better. That's why the minitruck is awesome.

What a difference a year makes. This time last year the guys were selling their trucks to keep going. Now they got trucks again and a shop truck. Keep doing what you’re doing guys. It’s been a blast watching the channel grow and gain traction. Your dedication, hard work, creativity and being your crazy selves is why we come here each week and the key to your success. You can hate that bumper until the first deer, elk, or bear you hit! I have o 2019 Ram 2500, and a couple of years ago, my wife called me around 10 pm in a panic stating she had hit a deer. I asked, "Is the truck still running?" Yes, she stated. I said, then bring it on home, and I will take care of it, since it was dark and she was in the midfke of nowhere Tennessee. She hung up and continued driving only yo call me a minute later stating she heard something scraping. I asked what do the gauges read. Everything is reading normal, she stated . Continue driving home and I will stay on the phone with you, I said. She made it home and I went outside, walked around the front of the truck only to find a doe stuffed through my front bumper, it's head and hooves were scraping the road! Now I have a big bumper which has saved me from 1 deer hit and numerous idiots who have seen the big Ram coming at the and suddenly decided it wasn't such a great idea to pull out in front of me!
Love your guys fun times. Keep the headache rack, if a true work truck, the help protect the cab and back window, and we all know you guys would do something that could damage them. 😊😊😊😊😊

I think you are going to need longer shackles to allow the lift springs with more arch to flex properly. Probably going to have to fab some new hangers for the rear to allow for longer shackles without changing the pinion angle or ride height.

@PeckBrothers, congrats in the shop truck. FYI, When it comes time to do brakes, order for a 2013. Ford went to larger rotors and calipers due to higher towing capacity.

Keep the rack. It will likely be very convenient in future. Also the rails aren’t bad, they could be useful. It’s a work truck she don’t gotta look pretty
Keep BOTH the headache rack & bed rails!
Paint the headache rack and rail black. Also cut the brush guard part off the old bumper and paint it black. Powder coating would be better if you can. You might cut some holes in the bumper to add some lights to... and a winch.
Put some air bags in the back of the mini-hauler so you can level it when hauling a load.
I have a smile on my face the entire time I watch these videos. You guys are so positive and fun to watch. Channels like you, Matt's Off Road, and more have inspired this 40+ year old guy to learn new skills like welding. Keep it up.
I vote keep the rack on the work truck, and I don't think the bed rails look bad either, and they can be useful for it being a work truck and strapping things down

Put a couple extra leaves in the pack and it'll make a big difference with the trailer and hauling out a vehicle with the tow truck. You guys are awesome and can't wait for the next update.
I literally just threw 2 perfectly fine goosenecks hitchs into the scrap dumpster.
Only thing it didn't have was bolts to bolt it down.
Tried selling them for $50 each at local yardsales and no one grabbed them up

You' need to keep the headache rack in the new work truck, it will cut down on busting out that rear window. It's already there. I'd keep the tie down rails on the bed too, you already pointed out good to secure stuff in bed. They provide some protection to the bed rails too. I've seen some save bed from major damage, if that brand is that solid.

Surprised to see ya'll ditch that Ranch Hand style bumper. Those are the Dean of working truck bumpers. Awesome front-end protection, allows you to actually push things, and the integrated front-hitch is a fantastic pull point, and makes it possible to move trailers to places you could never back them into. Stock Ford bumpers are thin & useless. ....not to mention boring too.

You need to put helper airbags in the rear with self leveler when you put weight on it it automatically pumps up and keeps the truck level

I've always kinda like the boom design with the kinda shape edges & angles since it was a little different from everyone else's boom but with the gooseneck hooked up it follows the angles of the gooseneck almost perfectly an now knowing yall kinda planned to be able to have the boom on an still tow a gooseneck trailer makes the initial design make that much more sense with the angles an with it being placed a little further forward compared to most other tow trucks.. Awesome job with the mini tow rig & the new shop truck/tow pig looks great specially on those American Force 22's an without that huge front bumper/cattle guard. Oh I think yall should keep the headache rack an those bars along the bed for more mounting points when loading/strapping things in the bed..

A work truck can’t not have a headache rack
If someone hasn't mentioned yet, watch out for clearance between the ball and axle when the ball is flipped. If I'm loaded too heavy, mine bangs hard.
