And it's always amusing for Jingles to be Jingles.
Back when i played WoT i remember having many good games in this tank and other deeply mediocre tanks. Not because i'm a good player (i'm not) but because i play more carefully in mediocre tanks and the enemy doesn't pay as much attention to you. They think they're safe because i'm in a mediocre tank so they make more mistakes and i can punish them for it because i'm being extra careful.
I played it like a support i would always be either behind my heavies or mediums. Its gun is also miraculous for me, i knew that it didnt hsve good pen and i need to shoot weak spots so more often than not i did, and they did hit more times and when they mattered for me. Lol
My best games, as far as win percentage, were in the Type 91 and Type 95 heavies, for the same reason you mentioned. They're terrible tanks and I was very careful on positioning and shooting, and between the two won 59% of 200 matches.

Once in a blue moon, all that experience pays off... I once hit a T-50-2 that had not been spotted for 4-5 seconds, he was driving fast, although just slightly maneuvering. I saw where he was headed to and did those big brain Einstein (cue montage here) things which u only get from trying and failing countless times before, and this time, it hit, and hit STRAIGHT ON! 😁 The shell travelled for like 3+ seconds. There's a reason why I still remember this :p
@@SebHaarfagre I've done it a couple of times but my favorite was on prokhorovka at the beginning of the match. Sent a shell at the rail crossing at the other side as soon as my SPG loaded...suddenly the enemy light tank exclaimed:" how the hell was I spotted?" 😁😇
I had one amazing arty game on that map, took out an enemy Centurion with two or three shells, and he wasn't spotted the entire game. First shell missed the intended target (a T-54 if I don't misremember) and went into an unseen tank behind him, then as the rest of the enemy team died the unspotted Cent was the last tank remaining, so I figured that if I were an idiot camping the entire game I'd be hiding in the bush line just next to the red line. Took a blind shot and popped him. ^^ Counted the enemy spotted tanks afterwards and came up with 14. :D

The T25/2 was the first tank I ever 3-marked, I completely understand what you're saying Jingles, it shouldn't be any good, but it somehow is. I think it's the combination of Mobility, Accuracy/Aim Time and fully traversable turret with good gun depression. Essentially it's a medium with a pretty accurate gun. Love it to bits :)
T25/2 has that weird US averageness going for it that makes it really dependable. It's not unlike the Pershing and T20, not particularly showy or amazing in any respect but good enough at everything that you can usually make it sing.
Scorpion G can easily brawl in the city. I used to do that in it, all you need to do is plop around the corner after the enemy fires, deal 500 dmg and go back into cover. As a top tier it is incredibly effective because you can easily clear city and get long range shots later in the game. But whatever.
Advancing from tier 6 to tier 7 I chose the turreted TD because I had been playing my Hellcat for so long. I learned pretty quickly that it's not a Hellcat! I couldn't play as aggressively but it forced me to learn all the hiding spots near the base

I think they must have all been power creeped, the 90mm doesn't cut it like it used to. It misses frequently. Awesome tank. Love this thing. Edit- jeez jingles, bit harsh on this thing. It’s obviously one of those tanks that doesn’t perform the way it’s stats suggest it should. I get great results with this, even against tier 8’s. It does require some team play, but overall, it can win games.
I absolutely love this tank destroyer and it’s because of the rate of fire and decent accuracy it’s not a great fire rate but it’s fast enough to throw people off
The Type 5 Chi-Ri and the T34-100 are two tanks that really struggled with but had many really good games in. Then there is the T44-100 that I loved (it has been power crept to the point of worthlessness) playing but had worse games than the FV4202 which I found very "Meh!" to play.
ironically i loved my T25/2 and hated the normal T25. i like the High Rof. ok pen, and good mobility of the T25/2 and i like its turret so i can aim without giving away my position from moving the hull. ik many dont like it but i loved it.
Myself as well had some pretty good games in the T25/2 but, not so many I wanted to keep it. I found it difficult to play and just let it go a couple of years ago.
The Skorpion was, unfortunately, right about both the Borrasqueueueueu tanks though, they do not belong in the city at the start of the match as paper light tank equivalents, they belong on the flanks spotting and countering other lights. They should have been around the Skorpion position at the start and then later on move into town when the enemy force was thinned out a bit.
Love that M12 not even firing into the like area with his shots while his team goes up the hill. Might have scared people back or hit something. I blame the M12 doe the red loss. Plenty of time over and over to take some blind shots into the most likely spot they are hiding and .. nahhhhh.
That scorpion did make the right play and those 2 barosque definitely made the wrong one.. My brother who is a top player in North America knows how a1 is a key position on high way n how you need fast mediums to take it asap Buy you also need players that know what to do once it's been secured n that's when trouble starts
Most of my best games were in some of the worst tanks in the game or stock tanks and i think thats because when you realise that you are in a terrible tank you will have to try pretty hard compared to yoloing in some super strong tank, and if you come out on top it feels good as well.
I remember the T 25/2. It isn't a great tank, but I had a respectable 55% win rate in it with a 2 skill crew. If you play cautiously you can have good matches in it. The T 25/2. It's not good, but it's good enough.
There many examples of why I don't like the view mechanic; watching tanks disappear after being seen despite no change in the circumstances. I could understand if a tank moved into some concealment, but no a tank out in the open suddenly becomes invisible to an enemy for no reason other then RNG.
Best thing about Jingles video is the utter failure of game mechanics at various points of the video. Tanks coming into proxy detect range, inproper bushes, grabbing spotting damage and shots landing all around our hero... but as far as jingles is concerned... our toxic tomato does not get spotted xD Ignorance is bliss!
The secret of the T-25/2 over the T-25 AT is the turret. It allows flexibility that the T-25 AT simply doesn't have. It still feels like a downgrade from the Hellcat though.
It is the turret, it is the only thing good in the T25/2 it, you can fight in ways TDs are not suppossed to be able to but the gun will then let you down
The T25/2 has a good bit of mobility, not too much. It’s got odd armor on front turret but not too much to slow it down, a decent enough gun but not too big. That’s what’s been in my head for that tank for a long time. Things in it that aren’t too good but also isn’t complete shit. I got through that tank rather quickly, albeit I saved some free XP so once I got a certain percentage for different upgrades I’d use a little to get it. Afterwards I kept the tank for a while because I worked on view range and camo. Seemed to be a great choice not that my particular stats were amazing in it nor because the teams carried me excessively. I’ve found it being able to bounce the shells from much much larger tanks and TDs cuz I stuck to areas where I could use the gun depression and would be able to backup just a bit to cause auto ricochet angles to be mostly the only angles that were presented. Out of all the tanks I’ve had which is pretty much every country up to tier 8 besides the Swedish meds, Polish and Italian tank lines I’m pretty confident in saying that T25/2 had weird moments of lucky bounces far higher in number in comparison to any other. Especially when compared to various tanks of a similar nature. A mid tier TD with medium turret armor, okay speed, okay gun, okay view and camo. Including some mediums that fall into the same kind of dynamic. I’ve had some really amazing moments of “Holy crap! Where did that come from? Where did I get hit? How much health did I just lose? What shot me? Is anyone else about to hit me and end me?” Only to realize it was a much bigger tank and gun that had shot me with the addition that the person who shot me bounced and I took zero damage. So yeah had a bunch of great games not as many as I’d like but for sure had some strange luck. A few of my friends had similar experiences with that tank. Maybe it’s just the mediocreness (Is that even a word?)of it that makes it somewhat enjoyable…? Hmm… idk.. 🤔 Great vid!
Truly amazing tanks inspire people to take risks. Bad tanks make the player overly cautious. A mediocre tank, meanwhile, forces a player to take calculated risks and nail the fundamentals if they want to carry a match. In short, good but not great players often get the best results in good but not great tanks. That’s my theory, at any rate.
The reason you probably have better memories in the T25/2 than the T25 AT is probably because of the turret. A little flexibility goes a long way over the course of a tier 7 grind
I enjoyed the T25/2. Got very good games in it. Could even bounce a lot by going hull-down and using the great gun depression to its fullest. Being an absolutely unremarkable machine, no-one ever expected it to be a real threat. That often let me do maneuvers that other more recognizable tanks would get instantly destroyed for. That, I think, is it's greatest advantage. Dangerously forgettable.
Regarding why your inclined to pick the AT rather than the 2 could be because human thinking has evolved to make choices that would seem rational to others, with the purpose being to come to conclusions faster in a pinch in order to avoid danger. A recent video from Vsauce touches on it.
My guess is more that people don't like the lack of versatility that comes with not having a turret. Back when I played WoT, I was the oddball that hated the turreted US TD's but loved the turretless ones mostly because I just function better when in a specialized vehicle. I really preferred the slow, fearsome roadblock that is the T95 because while the T30 has that easy, comfy turret which makes it faster and about as tough when hulldown, but has to sacrifice a immense amount of gun-handling for it. And why bother about hiding the hull or when to fall back when you can have the ease of the Doomturtle lifestyle of picking whatever direction has the fewest allies or is perfect for the vehicle, and just go. T95 doesn't retreat, T95 doesn't care about hulldown, T95 doesn't care about peek-a-boom. T95 just goes, shoots and keeps going forward at camping-pace. Of course now with the excessive OP ROOSKIE GOLD META why play anyways when your 2 biggest strengths are useless against what you're likely to fight anyways?
@@MrMeeHigh1 Not if you know the map. Been a while since I played so this could be outdated, but on the more wide-open maps, the T95 is low enough that, especially with investment, you can actually use concealment and viewrange to force enemies to either duck in cover(since a lot of players tend to hide when they get shot at), or will flee outright. It was a rare situation where enough enemies would charge you to become a problem. Plus the only armor on the T95 that is absolutely terrible is the rear, sides will bounce, unless its gold, T10 AP or well aimed by someone who knows what to aim for. Certainly, corridor maps are much easier to play, but if I wanted a easy game I'd just buy a OP tenk and goldspam.

I want you and Tex of the Black Pants Legion to do the worlds most epically voiced collab.
That scorpion did make the right play and those 2 barosque definitely made the wrong one..
My brother who is a top player in North America knows how a1 is a key position on high way n how you need fast mediums to take it asap
Buy you also need players that know what to do once it's been secured n that's when trouble starts
Most of my best games were in some of the worst tanks in the game or stock tanks and i think thats because when you realise that you are in a terrible tank you will have to try pretty hard compared to yoloing in some super strong tank, and if you come out on top it feels good as well.
Well done to the sta
I remember the T 25/2. It isn't a great tank, but I had a respectable 55% win rate in it with a 2 skill crew.
If you play cautiously you can have good matches in it.
The T 25/2. It's not good, but it's good enough.
Sooo many firsts, please form an orderly queue, you can’t all be first. Good day all
Awesome match great play by that toxic potato guys LOL
There many examples of why I don't like the view mechanic; watching tanks disappear after being seen despite no change in the circumstances. I could understand if a tank moved into some concealment, but no a tank out in the open suddenly becomes invisible to an enemy for no reason other then RNG.
Great vid jingles.....how's the renovation on the lower house going?
Best thing about Jingles video is the utter failure of game mechanics at various points of the video. Tanks coming into proxy detect range, inproper bushes, grabbing spotting damage and shots landing all around our hero... but as far as jingles is concerned... our toxic tomato does not get spotted xD Ignorance is bliss!
The secret of the T-25/2 over the T-25 AT is the turret. It allows flexibility that the T-25 AT simply doesn't have.
It still feels like a downgrade from the Hellcat though.
I've had very meh games in the T25 but tbh I like it more then the AT. The turret makes a HUGE difference
T25/2 is essentially a tier 8 Pershing masquerading as a tank destroyer at tier 7.
man i miss playing wot.. i might have to get back into it
Skill called this thing The hidden gem and rightfully so....gun is nice, although it has kinda low penetration on standard amunition.
It is the turret, it is the only thing good in the T25/2 it, you can fight in ways TDs are not suppossed to be able to but the gun will then let you down
I like how he related akizuki to a hellcat
8:45 would be a great oportunity for HE
The T25/2 has a good bit of mobility, not too much. Hmm… idk.. 🤔
Great vid!
Back when I played this game, I made the T25/2 work really well by playing it more like a medium tank that needed to stay unseen.
That's how I play it too. It's not too slow so I use it more as a medium that can't take a hit.
You can’t have it both ways, jingles. No matter how you say tomato/potato you gotta say them the same. Please you’re driving me mad! ;)
I also had good games in T25/2 but not so much in the one without a turret
Regarding why your inclined to pick the AT rather than the 2 could be because human thinking has evolved to make choices that would seem rational to others, with the purpose being to come to conclusions faster in a pinch in order to avoid danger. A recent video from Vsauce touches on it.
You're*
@@unscentednapalm8547 thank you ever so much for this
@@VekhGaming front armor is good only because corridor maps. No corridors no fun for you.
WHAT THAT'S ME HOLY CRAP
