It's a unique function of Soviet vehicles in WoT, that the larger the aiming reticle, the more Accuracy you can fit into it.
I'm sure Circon once theorized the most efficient sniper in the Red Army was a Light Tank Commander with 50% training drafted into a KV-2 with no other crew remaining, manning a broken 152mm howitzer in a rotating turret, traveling at full speed.

Awhile ago I repented to God then begged for help, "I was until then an Atheist."
I then had a dream of Jesus coming before God and he spoke of the Tabernacle in perfect context, "A word I didn't know existed.", and what I felt from Jesus when I held him was unlike anything I've ever felt before - A lifetime of Love every second - It brought me to sobbing and it changed my life, forever.
I've had other experiences since, "Several witnessed", one was seeing a bright orb of light pass across my face in the dark, hours before a major surgery the second I gave up in my heart.
Know that God and Jesus ARE real and that they Love us deeply. Let go of your hatred and Imagine yourself holding the people who've hurt you. Tell them you Love them.
Always have hope, I believe that prayer, following God's laws & Love is the answer, and through that, becoming humble, merciful, welcoming, giving, and forgiving, To All.

We had just won the airship and was pushing through and a tank in the middle was spotted, I fired on the move at full speed while also turning the turred from D0 to D3/D4 at well over 400 meters while that tank was pulling back behind the hill, hit and one shotted him. I took a few more shots at range but without moving and hit every single in the battle and ended up with a tank sniper medal and a high caliber.

Hey Jingles, great video as always. Re: the famous 88. It was actually their experience in the Spanish Civil War that convinced the Germans it would be an effective anti-tank weapon. Hugh Thomas wrote an excellent general history of it and among other, more famous examples of the genre, a young British volunteer for the *Nationalists*, Peter Kemp, wrote a very good memoir called "Mine Were of Trouble" on his experiences.
    Have a good one!

I'm still not sure if I'm saltier over that or them making the T18 into arty. That was another hilarious derp machine back in the day, made even better by the accusations of sealclubbing when I'd only recently unlocked it.

A couple of corrections to what was said about the KV-2: Firing the main cannon over a side wasn't enough to flip the tank. It was, however, enough to potentially damage or destroy the turret ring and make it impossible to rotate the turret. Firing the gun over a side could make the tank unstable enough to flip the vehicle if it were already in an unstable position such as being tilted sideways on a slope. The turret was so heavy that trying to rotate it while the vehicle was tilted could also damage the turret ring. KV-2 crews generally only worked the turret and gun when on a reasonably flat stretch of ground.
KV-1 and -2 used a diesel engine with a gearbox from a caterpillar tractor, and the 50 tons of a KV-1 pushed the gearbox to its limits and made it unreliable. The KV-2 was 57 tons, and that meant that on a road, it only reached about 25.6 kmh / 15.9 mph. Off-road, it was more like 12 kmh / 7.5 mph flat-out. The fuel supply it carried could only take it 175 km / 110 miles under ideal driving conditions.
Jingles was incorrect when he said that most German tanks had 20mm guns at the start of Operation Barbarossa. He probably meant to say that they had 3.7 cm AT guns. Only armored cars and light tanks like the PZKW II had the 2.0 cm. PZKW III and PZKW 38(t) started the war with 3.7 cm guns.
The 38t was withdrawn from service later and the Panzer III was up-gunned and up-armored for a time, ending with a high-velocity 5.0 cm gun that could take on a KV. The chassis of both tanks were also field-modified to become tank destroyers that carried 7.5 cm guns (the Marder series), and after a time, they were purpose-built for the role.
The PZKW III started the war with some of the hulls being used for the Sturmgeschutz III infantry support vehicle with a 7.5 cm low-velocity artillery gun. They were eventually fitted with a 7.5 cm AT gun. When the PZKW IIIs were dropped from front line service, many of the surviving ones were converted into StuGs and some were modified into vehicles like the 10.5 cm self-propelled artillery platform known as the Wespe.
