"The moment you cross off -Real- as a favorite, that's when they'll kill you"
Pep Guardiola 2014
He said that?🤨
You underrate Real Madrid, they show you what they are time and time again.
@@roymaliwafunda7181What's their head to head? Time n time again. Hatred is terribly dubious.
@@NATAR160 every year I see Real Madrid being underrated and English teams spoken highly of when it comes to champions league on almost all football analysis programs including ESPN FC. Is it so much love for EPL club that analysts are blinded?
Special thanks to Antonio Rudiger for pocketing Erlin Haaland for us 🔥
Still love that guy... him Silva and Christiensen formed a formidable defence for us under Tuchel...
Halland has being pocketed every single time he faces madrid
@@PedroNeves-hm5xm that Chelsea was scary and entertaining. Now, unfortunately, your american owner has ruined your club.
He pocketed every single one of attackers lol fkin hate him for it😂

Oh so now City were the "uNdErDoGs" ??
Pathetic excuses!!😂🤣
Lol 😂
typical pundits they said man city clear favourites now they lost
Yup, look how they walk it back. Couple of weeks ago it was near unanimous that City were clear favourites. 😄
Hey ! Weren't you a City fan? Why are you switching .

No Curtois, no alaba, no militao 3 starters.. Really good, close to world-class level players.. But still successful in LA Liga and going to semi finals champions league..
Ancelotti is just amazing..
Salute to 31yo Rudi for keeping Haaland in _check_
True but 31 Is pretty much still prime age for a defender, anywhere from 27-33
Too harsh on Man City? You people were the one were harsh on Real Madrid by overhyping Man City.
It's been a decade now and these guys STILL haven't learned their lesson 🤣
Madrid have made the semi finals 12 times in the last 14 years show some respect next time 💀
Vini and Rodrigo are pure fire.
The put in an impressive shift defensively today
How many chances did they create?
Vinicious had no attempt at goal. What are you saying
agree with rodrygo but not vinicius bro walker locked him out, looked really pissed too cause' of it
Bring in endrick forget mbappe
Rudiger bottled Haaland in both leagues.
Haaland just useless player if play with top team
Is it harsh? probably but that's what the champions league is all about, its brutal... i remember when we won 2-3 at the Bernabeu (was 0-3 up in 70th min as well) and we still didn't end up going through...
Ya I remember when Ajax kick Real M out 4-1 at Madrid too
Still hurts me cause we bottled the first league with Mendy costing us
emmm ok 😂
Everyone will be talking about Saka tonight. No one will talk about Foden, Haland, Bernado etc.
Because Saka has a bottle job title on his sleeves unlike Foden.
All you need to learn about real madrid, you can see in the way their players walked up to take the penalties.
Yeah
Real Madrid is a European Powerhouse but can we be honest for a second and recognize they got luck. Like extremely lucky 🤔
@@logirex there's nothing like luck here, Man City should have scored with all that possession. If you don't wanna win, someone has to. Hala Madrid for life!!!
@@logirexman city played a beautiful game.. had so many chances..
So how did they scored their Only goal? With a touch of luck! U have to have luck in football. when there's 2 best side competing.
Btw Real madrid also had a masterpiece of a game in defending.. they didn't need to score for 60min.. the game would be very different if Real were to concede first.. that's all there is to it
There is attack, mid field and defence in football. A team can adopt one of these or a mixture of these to varying degrees as their chosen style for a match.
Real Madrid in this game chose to play defence as their main focus while city chose attack as their main focus.
However the pundits believe that since Madrid didn't choose attack, they didn't dominate the game. Guardiola on the other hand wants us to believe that because he chose attack and his team underperformed in their execution of this strategy, they are the ones who deserve to go through, not Madrid who satisfactorily executed their strategy and dominated the game defensively. Rodri however believes only one team played at the Etihad.
These guys need to go and do some thinking.
Im a man city fan, but dam it hurts. Salute to Real Madrid for getting it done.
Now your talking at least not with excuses. There's always the next time 😊
Not as much as the 115 charges will hurt 😂

Fear any defender that says pepe is their role model...... rudiger, they're always dangerous
...and the rest, envious...
Only Klinsman had predicted Real Madrid will win. The other English pundits predicted otherwise. Klinsman predicted it will go down to penalties too. Also he got his Bayern beating Arsenal prediction right. The English pundits can now go back to what they do best - glorify EPL
Englishmen are kind of degenerates anyway if you think about it. They mostly only speak one language. People who only speak one language don't go near microphones anywhere else in the world. Maybe in America or France, but that's it.
Uncomfortable Conversations are needed on Haaland and big games... its all well and good stat padding against Luton and Leipzig but when you're labelled as the best striker in the world and on par with Mbappe you need to rise in big games... and so far he hasn't.
at least mbappe shows up

Rodrigo is underrated
Rodrigo is the Spaniard DM 🇪🇸 that plays for Man City 🏴, however Rodrygo 🇧🇷 is the LW/RW that plays for Real Madrid 🇪🇸 he’s the underrated one. The other is a bit overhyped imo.
Something is really wrong with finishing of both City and Liverpool this season.
Teams that play position-based football are most of the time bad at finishing. Like Spain national team,
Liverpool yes, City no. They are simply creating far fewer chances than in previous seasons. There is not a big gap between their xG and actual goals, whereas for Liverpool there is.
No doubt about that
@@nothingreallyhappens7340 except this wasn't happening last season.
Where was Haaland
Oh yeah nowhere in big games
Am happy no England football club at this Champions League
Legend has it that pep is still at the atihad stadium waiting for the game to start
They should at least pretend to be professionals and hide their sadness and disappointment. The mighty EPL...🙄😄. Hala Madrid!...btw tomorrow Liverpool is going down as well... more tears...
Zizou can get the same results. It's not just Carlo Anceloti
Exactly, these pundits are crazy
No any coach can get the result just part the bus and get lucky 😂 but can any coach play beautiful football NO
Yeah with about 60 injuries in 2020/21 season, he took the team to semis in cl and they only lost la liga by 1-2 points to atleti.
Similar coaches, Zizou was Carlo’s understudy as his assistant manager at Real Madrid during his first spell be4 he was promoted when Carlo was sacked.
All i remember is these same People talking about City having no Weaknesses and were supposedly just going to stride past all the Opposition they play both in England and Europe, Pep, Foden, KDB, Rodri, and Haaland cant be stopped but somehow they are out and for a League they are supposed to walk away with they are 2 points ahead but every game they win the media say its over for the Rest, Real Madrid aren't your average Football club, they are the Greatest, Pep has been Coaching Major Clubs for a While but still Madrid has won more European titles than him
What was the team suppose to do, they defended with 11 men , what is City suppose to do…cmon guys!!!How many shots on goal ?
8? Half of which were trash
Didn't City attack with 11 players?
Curious to hear what you would say if city had won 4:3 on penalties. You guys are ridiculous acting like Madrid was some super team that blew city away🤦♂️
😂😂😂the city fans talk too much bro
Its the opposite, City is the Team that just threw 10 chances away. Real does something with their chances. The pressure from City was crazy but a "perparation is worth nothing without the right execution"
@@Aluja77 City don't park the bus. When they have chances it's a counter attack. 🤡
@@Aluja77 what chances did RM had besides winning in penalties? U talk as if RM took 4 chances in normal time and scored 4 times.
KO football has nothing to do with stats, you either go out or go through.
Goofy dude in the middle is always wrong
To be fair Man City don’t suit haalands style of play. Dortmund and Bayern suits his very direct style. But credit to real they know how to win.
yes even real madrid would be better for him.
Yep, Pep's system is very limiting sometimes.
@@TheGamer-sb3ry Yup. Real involve all players in games, not just for dragging back. When defenders man mark Haaland, he has to stay up to create space, yet doesn't get on the scoresheet himself. At Dortmund, he had freedom to roam and more defensive duties, which is why his numhers skyrocketed as soon as he joined City, same with Jude.
Last season it worked very well

This is football and not a surprise that Real Madrid won.
Alot of teams like City can dominate possesion and chances to score and still lose.
Goals win matches and as good as a team you must be clinical in front of goal and score.
Looking likely to be a Real Madrid vs PSG final.
Semi finals are before and final. Wait a couple more weeks. You haven’t learn yet to not rule out games after watching the quarters? But HALA MADRID

Toni Rudiger!!!!!!!
One of the best free signings in the modern era for Real Madrid.
it doesn't matter if Real madrid won the champions league in the 60s? how about five times champions league winners for the past ten years and 14 time UCL winners
Whenever English teams lose in the Champions League, they are unlucky. And Real are always lucky when they win!
No English are left 😂what you gonna celebrate Aston Villa winning the Conference . No one cares how good you look or money you have
Only results matter , well said
They say when you are to being privileged, equality looks like discrimination. So when you are used to heaping praise on Pep and City, any criticism seems harsh......
Best league in the world my foot!🙄😂
I watched ESPN on earlier before the match and the the guy in the right up corner said and predicted that the game will be decided on penalties wow😮
The problem with Manchester city is instead of feeding the ball to Holland. They keep on whipping the ball back-and-forth back-and-forth from side to side.
Discuss on game of football please !! Who played better football game ..
City usually lose to teams who park the bus. It's hard to score against 10-0-0.
Then that’s a problem with Man City, defence is also a part of the game
There is attack, mid field and defence in football. A team can adopt one of these or a mixture of these to varying degrees as their chosen style for a match.
Real Madrid in this game chose to play defence as their main focus while city chose attack as their main focus.

Sounds like a skill issue.
Very harsh on Pep and Manchester City. Pep has not had enough financial backing from Manchester City board this season. He needs to spend £500m in the summer to improve next season, if they are to stop Spurs
lol no one needs to stop Spurs... they end up stopping themselves...
@@PedroNeves-hm5xm💀😂😂
You could give spurs, city’s budget and they would still spurs it up ending in bankruptcy
Oil price might increase before the transfer window.

"No other manager would've been able to get Real Madrid into this position other than Carlo".

The high expectations you put on city and pep is just just crazy..CITY IS JUST LIKE ANY OTHER TEAMS.. PULLING THEIR NAME DOWN JUST CONFIRMED HOW GOOD IT IS
Still, next year ESPN will be doubting Real Madrid. It’s mind boggling 😂😂😂

Clueless pundits. The Special One would do even better with this Real Madrid squad.
A team with that expensive roster has no excuse to lose
There are 2 sides in the game: (1) The "best side to watch", and (2) The winner.
Despite having had incredible teams at Bayern and ManCity, Pep has only 1 UCL since Messi. And Lukaku was needed to win that one.
Should have started Doku & Julian Alvarez

Nothing to be ashamed about. They both were definitely 2 of the best teams in the world. It was a knockout competition and it could go either way.
Silvas penalty was unacceptable, downright embarrassing

Klinsman analysis is superb..👌

Have u ever asked if u being too harsh on Arsenal???? But City..
Ancelotti recent tenure at Madrid is arguably the best next to none with regards to managing succession. Last year they lost Man City but you could see they were building, and yet even this year they experimenting with different approaches and they managed to scrap through. When all of the young guys are 25-26, this team will be mean machine if they stay together
If only Pep played Haaland in the starting XI 🤣
Bro they won without mbappe.. next year we’re doomed
And Endrik, and Alfonso Davis… 😅
All Hail Don Carlo. Because his experience is that all pull them over the line.
👎 Rúben Dias has not been a fit and suitable substitute for City's defense.
He has been a liability in big games this season... I argue he costed us the elimination from Champions!
Today's mood of ESPN and City fans have been proudly sponsored by Real Madrid
I agree with Ale..its the personality...and people dont see that..👍🏿👍🏿
Wow , it's like a wake
Rip City 😅
Apart from Klinsmann, pretty much all these pundits said City were favourites. Now they are acting like they were always underdogs
Its never the same when stevie is not there
I’m glad Moreno for giving Rudiger his props these lot were trying to downplay his contribution and only talking about others. We know what they are doing. Craig didn’t even remember his name at first. We are still fighting these demons
The only way to stop city or beat city is to park the bus and defend like your life depend on it….
ESPN FC is one of my favorite platforms of football analysis. What I don't like is the biasness towards English teams. Where is an all English semifinals you predicted would take place this year?
It is not enough to score hat tricks against teams that Man City will beat anyway. Erling Haaland was supposed to be the man to help City to being the unstoppable machine in the Champions League. I have been saying this for over a year now: he is lost when City comes up against elite teams. That would include Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid, etc. those teams invest in great defenders and have great defensive plans. They do not make the errors that smaller teams make. I held out hope that he would improve his ball control and be an asset beyond simply scoring goals, but nothing so far. Get rid of him! There are teams that would spend a lot of money to have him because they play the style of football that allows him to run and score, which is what he needs to succeed. At City, he tends to have less space to run into and defenders….good defenders….know how to pocket him in those spaces. Jamie Garragher was right: he is a great goal scorer, but a bang average football player.
don carlo is worldclass. Still is. Still was. Always be
Rudiger is a beast. His pen to win it was high quality.
I would love to take the Luton team and give them Carlos in charge and put them in the Real kit and just see what they do in the CL, I reckon they’d get out of the group
Nacho and Vasquez have always stepped up in the biggest times. These guys act like they can't make pks. Gtfo
I'm glad Real Madrid won Man City despite Guardiola's team dominated throughout the match, however Ancelotti's team was clever than the opponent team on penalties. As a result, Real Madrid could beat Guardiola, which was their black beast.
ESPN playing sucker for Pep since 2008.
City can go back to the championship when the Abu Dhabi sheick is back on the camel xD
City were just unlucky although Haaland seems to have lost his mojo at the moment.
Simple is that, tonight is not man city's night, real madrid was playing like school team..
All these expets picked man city😂😂😂😂
They didnt lose, they tied.
Real Madrid is stacked even if Mbappe doesn’t join Madrid we will still be the most stacked team 🙌🏻
If madrid had lost you would all be crapping all over madrid and its legacy
Man City were the best team and dominated the game. However on this night we couldn't get another goal, and went out on penalties.
Just one of those days....
I wish Ale M' would shut up ffs?
When foreign teams lose at all, the Prem fans call them a farmers' league... so NO, it's not being too harsh when Prem teams lose
Haaland didn't show up again he has the prems worst record against top tier teams .same last year
Real Madrid is the biggest club in Europe right now. I’m not sure why these “commentators” cringe every time they have to say that.
I guess ESPN are being paid off by Man City to talk such drivel.
They are supposed to be the best team in the world with all that money.
But Oh no, when they lose, they are unlucky.
When others lose, it is because the team is not good enough😂😂😂
