Last year they lost Man City but you could see they were building, and yet even this year they experimenting with different approaches and they managed to scrap through. When all of the young guys are 25-26, this team will be mean machine if they stay together

  • @dmorw9601
    @dmorw9601 14 дней назад

    It is not enough to score hat tricks against teams that Man City will beat anyway. Erling Haaland was supposed to be the man to help City to being the unstoppable machine in the Champions League. I have been saying this for over a year now: he is lost when City comes up against elite teams. That would include Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid, etc. those teams invest in great defenders and have great defensive plans. They do not make the errors that smaller teams make. I held out hope that he would improve his ball control and be an asset beyond simply scoring goals, but nothing so far. Get rid of him! There are teams that would spend a lot of money to have him because they play the style of football that allows him to run and score, which is what he needs to succeed. At City, he tends to have less space to run into and defenders….good defenders….know how to pocket him in those spaces. Jamie Garragher was right: he is a great goal scorer, but a bang average football player.
