I watched this final carpool karaoke when it was first released and has laughing so hard at the irony of her adamant hate for musical theater and then she sings Rain On My Parade perfectly!! And dare I say better than anyone I have ever heard sing it!?!!! Amazing!! ♥️🙌🏻♥️
Good enough that it makes me want a full solo recording of her singing it, I have to admit

One way that could have enticed her to do a performance of "Funny girl" is to remind her that Ramin Karimloo will be her male lead. As far as Lea stepping down for another diva to take her place, even for one night...doubtful lol!
Love this but, you can’t honestly think Lea Michelle would be fine stepping aside for Adele to do one number let alone a whole performance!! You’re right though, I need Adele to get that Tony!!
We need her on Broadway asap like a small run or something I don’t want her Tony to be a “cheat” one for executive production like most have been getting it recently ie JHud, John Legend etc

This is actually better and I to hate musical rubbish.. I love opera where people actually do sing however I really mean this Adele is better than Lea.. There's more depth greater definition and she has way more power and this from a classical lover plus musical hater.. Oh and I really don't like Adele either incase anyone asks..The fact that she can do things with her voice is incredible.. There was this show on British TV many years ago that had just two seasons..It was called Pop star to opera star and they had 6 weeks to train..I think if Adele had done this she might be singing opera now she has that voice where she could switch from head to diaphragm.. Anyway I rant. Adele rather than Lea by a little margin 🙂
