my box wasn't that big but is big enough to store both the ultimate and real ghostbusters set by timelife in it, mine had bubble pockets two on top and two on bottom was surprised that there was none on the sides but came undamaged and my set is complete no wrong discs, got lights, got all slips, digital code sheet etc got mine preordered for $99 at walmart in usa.
I like the original cases more and it would have been even greater if they had steelbooks, I really love those. Although you need to be really carefull to not scratch the steelbook case.

Amazon has really been effin up with shipping, completely hillbilly amateur. Mine came in a paper envelope. If I wanted to keep this un open I would be disappointed as the wrapping had like gravel dings but thank goodness it came fine. Another youtber got his the same way and the bottom of traper lids where torn.
I got mine from Amazon and 2 of the smaller sides of the trapper lid were complete torn off. I thought it looked strange when a whole corner section was missing and I could see the contents inside also took some damage, but it was all still shrink wrapped. Sadly, it was all messed up and no pieces were in the shipper box, so I guess it came this way from the factory. I had to return it with no chance of a replacement since it sold out, so really disappointed about it. :(

Yep...It sounds like I was lucky to have in all intact and all the contents were correct inside. Anything I buy from Amazon that is a collectible is always in a bigger box and no packaging or the box is to small and everything is crushed...Have a great weekend, OmegaFire!
I ordered my from Amazon(US) on 12/30.Amazon says it should arrive 2/9.It hasn't shipped yet.I'm nervous though.People getting it from Amazon are saying it's being delivered in just a bag and boxes are arriving damaged.And since this is so limited,damaged boxes can't be replaced.Plus there are many reports that some copies are having duplicate 4K disks in place of proper ones(two 4k disks instead of one 4k and one Blu Ray for the first two films),missing slipcovers for Afterlife and non working lights.
Hey Lionel, yah I hope your box is delivered safely! My box was complete so hopefully you get all your discs etc. Ghostbusters news had a 1-800 number to call if anything is missing.
@@lioneljacobs6874 I have had the same whenever I buy from Amazons UK website where I am from I have always had my packages delivered in proper protective packaging boxes with paper padding to stop it bashing around in transit yet whenever I have ordered from Amazon US they always ship it in a paper bag or bubble mailer and sometimes it shows up damaged cracked cases and loose discs
Oof. Best Buy has had some awful packaging lately. My LotR steelbook set arrived a while back with one side of the outer tin completely smashed in. I like the new art on the Ghostbusters 4k more. I hadnt upgraded to 4k yet so this set was kind of a no brainer

The outer tin has a small ding on the one side but it's superficial. The steelbooks themselves are great. I figured it was better than risking or chancing Best Buy shipping...again.
The whole giant box with little box thing in it has the same logic as a car crash the person with no seatbelt usually survives without any injury while the sober person with the seat belt on dies tragically

In fact I could probably get a cheap flight to the US, have a long weekend there, buy an iPhone, return home & still pay less than buying one here. Sorry Sony, I’m not paying $200 for a product inferior to the one available in North America for $99. Such a shame as I’ve waited 33 years for this film.
I got my set from Wal-Mart and it arrived right on the day of release. They packaged it in a box with air pouches for cushion and it arrived with no damage. The lights for my set don't work, but that's not a big deal for me since I only paid around $100 for the set and I got the upgraded 4k copies of the first 2 films along with the Afterlife, the 2 loaded special features discs, and the making Ghostbusters book. It was worth the cost of upgrading. For me I could care less if the 2016 movie was ever included bc I do not like that film and it has no business being included in this collection. The 2016 movie imo is nothing more than a terrible attempt at a parody of Ghostbusters and it failed miserably.

This only seems to be Amazon overseas in the UK they sent mine in a box inside another box with padding and bubble wrap
