- SECOND UPLOAD ATTEMPT! You'll have to forgive me if I've missed some requests the last few weeks. Hasn't been fun with work and being sick with a sinus infection! I try my best, though. Last night (well more like 4:30am) on my way home from work, ol' "Mr. Smooth" was keeping me awake with "Lovers Of The World" on my SUV stereo. So, here's one of his "Stanko386" requested, which is Jerry's cover of Earl Grant's #7 1958 pop hit. Jerry's version did decent on the country charts in 1978, reaching #24. Enjoy!
Jerry had such a smooth and wonderful voice, I could listen to him twenty-four seven. Such a loss when he passed. Love you and you will never be forgotten. RIP sweet Jerry❤️❤️. I love all the comments that his son lil Joe writes about his dad . 😘
Miss you and that beautiful voice. Goodnight sweet Jerry, you will always be loved and never forgotten. RIP ❤❤❤❤❤❤

That's my dad, i used to sing this song along with the 8 track. In our Monty Carlo.on the way to Santa Anita.
One of the most underrated singers of all time!
You're absolutely right about that...along with Roy Orbison...
this was all bill boards doings , they would claim no. 1 songs to keep main stream artists on top , probably paid off because
no other singer could match Jerry Wallace's voice
Really likes this guy singing

There was another version of this in the 1950s. A big hit for the singer named Earl Grant
Very underated as a singer

Yes indeed.

very much so.
so very true.
So true.
when I heard this , I replaced Earl Grant's version with J W .
Jerry Wallace has a lovely voice but on this song there are simply so many versions that are better. However this will appeal to his many admirers.
