Just to mention, Metallica also has lengthy instrumental pieces - yet when performing live, they only play 2-3 minute medleys from their instrumental tracks :)

Just because I'm not a chef, doesn't mean I can't tell if a dish is tasteful, or aweful. But the djent riffs are notably bland, and a lot of his lead licks are just repeated many times. then next part. If you want someone to knock your damn socks off, watch a couple song play throughs from the band Reflections. either, An Artifact, ...And Found, or Advance Upon Me Bretheren.
