Sorry for the second comment. Just an FYI, You should glue the exhaust tip on. i almost lost mine 3 times before I glued it on. I glued it with CA glue. It hasn't come off since. Once they come off the first time they never stay on again without gluing. It's easy to lose. Make sure to scuff up the glue contact parts and clean them with alcohol before gluing.
Thanks for the info and great video. My wife surprised me this morning on my Birthday with one of these! Unfortunately I don’t hav a spectrum charger and don’t want to pay a small fortune for one as well as their over priced batteries. Using the ‘super slow’ usb charger it came with. XT60 plug upgrade is on the cards. Cheers for your help.
Great video Troy. I usually just get some adapters on Amazon for the batteries I run. Not that I can’t solder, it just way easier and pretty cheap too. I suppose one could make a pocketful of them too!😜👍🏻✌🏻. Great tutorial Troy!🙌🏼💯👍🏻
The Promoto MX is so well designed. You can tell the LOSi R&D department did their homework. I got my blue one but my Green one still hasn't come in from the pre-order. Matter of fact many people in the forums who pre-ordered the green one that comes with a battery and charger never got theirs either. I'm guessing they were overwhelmed with pre-orders and didn't expect it to sell as fast as it did? Do you know anything about what is going on with the Green Pro Circuit version of the Promoto MX? I have got no response from Losi to Horizon Hobby. They charged me for it though. I was hoping to have two, the blue one I have and the green one for my son since he is a Kawasaki fan. lol Great video as usual. Sorry for the rant 😂😂
Hi there! I have no insider info - just what I see in the groups. Sounds like the green was the last to be shipped, and there is general confusion on where they are. Good news - they will eventually get here!
I want one, looks so cool.
Hopefully I'll get one at some point.
Keep up the good work fella. 👍
Thank you!
Thank you for the shout out!
Thank you for the quick work on the great product!

Where can I get one of those clamps you used when soldering? That thing would make my life so much easier!
It really is a nice clamp! I use it all the time.
Here is a link for it: amzn.to/44VALEu
Why not just buy the correct battery?
Like many folks, I standardize plugs across my vehicles.
Plus, soldering different plugs means I can run various batteries.
