This is just like my current Defect run, I also picked between Biased Cog and Electrodynamics, deciding on the latter, but then got Pandora's Box and got Biased Cog anyway. Jorbs picked the Cog, but got Electrodynamics anyway. Except my run was miserable while Jorbs wins easily.
Definitely silent, defect and ironclad have cards that exhaust other cards (defect gets recycle) and watcher just wants no basics ever, which just caused infinites so often. Not to mention silent decks usually have a bunch of card draw because they have bigger decks
Depends a little how you count. Does intangible on every turn for silent count? Also do you count all the runs it is possible to go infinite or only when it is "correct"? What about a deck that sometimes goes infinite, or a deck that starts going infinite on floor 45?
so defect can really only go infinite with recycle to get rid of cards and even then it doesn't have a ton of easy and reliable energy generation turbo puts voids in the deck(bad for infinites) fission requires channeled orbs (often cost energy) and meteor strike is expensive and hard to play reliably, so defect has one way to exhaust and not much energy gen needs help from relics to get them. iron clad has a lot of card exhaust, but drop kick is really the only card I can think of that let's him go infinite. he needs to gain enough energy to play an attack (it can cost zero) then draw the attack and card draw to play again. drop kick is all three. you just need another one or zero cost draw and you have an infinite, so ironclad can go infinite way easier then everyone else and the relics just give you more options silent has no way to exhaust cards, but in theory has the most ways to go infinite using massive amounts of card draw and discard and her overall low cost cards, concentrate generates energy so does tactician, reflex and acrobatics and expertise and a ton of other silent cards draw cards. throw in relics and silent has the most options for going infinite, but also the hardest time making it actually work since it relies on getting exactly enough of the right cards to pull off. that being said your can find RUclips jorbs going infinite with calculated gamble+ and reflex using tough bandages for block and tingsha for damage. watcher can go infinite with stance swapping and I think that's about it. any source of calm will work, and any source of wrath or the three empty cards, rush down helps and flurry of blows and talk to the hand help as well. watcher has some good options for an infinite, but still has no way to remove cards during combat, so suffers the same issue has silent relics will help make it easier for sure, but still not as reliant on them as defect appears to be.
@@pennding3415 wow, you're wrong. First off, while yes its rare, you can use omniscience to get rid of cards. Second, silent has difficulty with infinites due to the amount of cards you need for her. Often you have about 10 cards just purely for block, and thats already enough to stop an infinite. Exhausting cards is pretty important for infinites, but it's not always right. Dont forget that you need energy to keep up this stuff usually, and silent for the most part has unintuitive ways to do gain energy, since outmaneuvered is next turn and tactician needs discard and concentrate makes you have less cards to work with. And as for ironclad, thats where you get the most wrong. Ignoring sundial and ceaseless top, which are some of the best relics for infinites, there's 3 distinct ones i can think of for infinites. There is dropkick and double tap/dual wield/another drop kick/literally any 0 cost draw like flash of steel, deep breath, or finesse (double tap actually can gain energy), there is double burning pact+ and power through and bloodletting (power through, burn the wound, play bloodletting, repeat), and then there is reckless charge and evolve+ and dark embrace and medkit (have reckless charge snd daze in your hand, play reckless charge, play the daze, draw the daze in your draw pile which draws the reckless charge as well). So yeah, id say get a bit more educated on infinites first please.
@@mrinfinity5557first thing i was ignoring colorless cards and relics, only mentioning them off hand at the end, i was thinking about infinities unique to the character because every can go infinite with flash of steal, that removes one of the ironclad initiates you mentioned, that while a valid infinite could be used regardless of character(i didn't make that clear in the first comment, so i understand why you brought it up). Also bloodletting can't be used to go infinite because deals damage to you, that means if you play it enough times it kills you, so yes it will extend your turn long enough to kill the enemy, but it can be played an infinite number of times, unless you have an infinite amount of mid turn healing which does not exist in slay the spire. Dark embrace aslo is not a true infinite because when you run out of exhaust it stops drawing cards, so you need to play cards that generate exhaust option and then exhaust them and doing that will cost energy making the infinite harder to pull off. Now on to silent you are so right about her playstyle making it next to impossible to go infinite, that's why i said she theoretically had the most ways to infinite, in this case most ways means the most card options, but like you said it's really hard because she needs lots of cards and the her energy gain is unintuitive.
