    Love these videos Shan. My daughter was 24 at the end of July and we have never spent her child benefit. When she was born you had to have a bank account so the money just went right into one we opened for her when she was born. Along with money she got for birthdays, Christmases and throughout the years when she was really young she has now got a huge lump sum towards her first property - which she's hoping to buy next year. She's been living in London for the past 5 years and is moving back home to save up for a year to give her even more savings

      @simonalcroft7897 Месяц назад +3

      If only you’d actually put that money to work.
      If you haven’t spent any for 24 years and saved all of the birthday and Christmas money it’s possible that she’s got £50,000 to go towards a property.
      If instead you’d of invested that money into any good mutual fund, she’d have enough to buy the property outright.
      You went halfway at least.

    Hi shan, love these videos and best of luck for your holidays x. On a recent vlog, you mentioned about going to Morocco. I recently went and I'm a mum of a 1 year old. Milk wise, you shouldn't struggle there with finding milk, it's really available in many stores and very convenient. However, it's best to take ready made baby food or purees. Resteraunts even allow u to warm the milk up. Dont forget finger foods and purees. This is because finding food and even finger food on the go was a little struggle for me. But hygiene and water wise, it's so much better than I ever thought! It is a very clean, hygienic environment , so yeah, you shouldn't worry about any of that!. Let me know if you have any questions x

    Having just turned 39 and got laid off, I'm at a crossroads. With 425K saved for an early retirement at 50, 10K in an HSA, and a property that could net me an extra 200K, what are my options for passive income?

      I’m confused about whether to combine all my investment accounts into one. If I decide to do this, how should I go about it, and will there be any consequences I should be aware of? I also intend to sell my property, which could add an extra 200K overtime. Should I consolidate everything into one investment account, or diversify across several sectors?

      These are important questions for a financial planner. I connected with mine at a NYSE summit, and with her help, my wife and I reallocated our 1.7M portfolio between a traditional IRA and a brokerage account. She’s been executing trades with our consent and has managed to recoup twice our crisis losses. We’re holding and cautiously navigating the market

      @@stephanieg9477 That would be sad, I hope that's not the case. It's hard working towards financial goals if you feel like your partner isn't on the same page with you. I know some people choose to combine finances and some choose to keep them separate. My husband and I have chosen to combine and that works for us since we both can log into the same budgeting app to log our purchases, but I'm always curious to learn more about how couples communicate on finances when they aren't combined.

May I ask a question for next time - with the expenses out of the joint account with something like groceries though, how do you track how much you have spent each week? If you don’t use Monzo pots or keep track within the spreadsheet of actual spending ? Thank you again for your videos.
