Once again another great interview! I have had a stroke and I am carnivore and wonder if I should reduce my fat and increase my protein. According to my macros I should be getting 115 grams a day. Mind you I don't count a thing. Do I need to?
@@JazzfromOz Yes I put my numbers in to get the ratio. What I don't understand is if my glucose is 85 and ketones are 3.1 how do I figure out if the ketones are half of the glucose measure? That would make ketones around 42 which doesn't make sense.
Glucose and ketones should be measured in mmol/L. Its simpler that way. So if you have glucose at 4,0 you need to have ketones at 2,0 to have GKI of 2,0.
Love hearing Andrews story, such a warrior.
Why is it I do not hear of any hospitals that treat cancer are not looking at this? Is it 💰💵
Good point about critiques of high protein diets that often overlook the context of that protein e.g., zero carb, high carb, LCHF ways of eating.
He was meaning 3.0 and 5.0 ketones not 0.3 and 0.5 big difference 🙂 so the guy is in deep ketosis with higher protein
Is there a full version of this interview?
I eat only beef, tuna, fish, dairy, and rice.
Still much better than most. 👍
Look up the Randal cycle. Just learned about this! Although if you find you are good with rice bravo!
good background
Lots of mention of glycine here. I use glycine powder for a sweetener.

Like w/Rob Cywes; I fast forward Sean speaking to hear Isabella.
What was meant by ketones being
roughly half your glucose measure?

@@Anita-silver you divide your glucose 85mg/dl with 18=4.7
