- This is the Corsair K65 Pro Mini, an upgrade to the Corsair K65 RGB Mini which now has OPX switches as well as other highlights like two layers of dampening foam, 8,000Hz polling rate, 50 onboard profiles and the possibility of 20 layers of RGB lighting.
In this video I'm exploring what the K65 Pro mini is like, plus showing you how it looks with Corsair's PBT doubleshot keycaps and SteelSeries Prism Caps.

7:43 Of all the 65% boards that I own, if the delete key and backspace key are in the same row, I change the keycaps and remap it like this. It always felt like a more natural resting position for the middle and ring fingers. The top key in the last column usually becomes `~, Ins, or PrtScr.
Have a white K65 RGB Mini with the pudding style key caps (can't remember if it's the actual Hyper X Pudding or Steel Series Prism set. They look basically the same). Looks fantastic, super portable and works great for gaming BUT the loss of the delete and arrow keys sucks. When the white version of this comes out I might have to pick it up to remedy that.
Thank you! I've been looking forward to this review. I picked this up about a month ago, as someone who normally uses clicky switches but has really enjoyed typing on it. Its definitely much more quite than other Corsair keyboards we have here at the house. Perhaps because I have the US layout I'm not hitting that Corsair key often. My daily driver for a while has been a 75% Azoth and the top key is Ins anyway on that one (just put Glorious Raptors in it and they are very nice BTW). I'm much more impressed with the optical switches than the MX Silver but perhaps I need to try more linear in the future. Thank you again, some of the things you noted I hadn't thought of yet. I will add that I think mine is a little more quite than the one you have but not by much. I also believe the oddity with the original K65 is that it was a 60% not a 65% even though it was called K65. It's nice to see Corsair adding some dampening, definitely makes a difference. Really enjoying the channel!
dude why did they make this a wired keyboard. asus azoth it is
why would you ever need your keyboard to be wireless
So I can type on the potty
god, I hate these ultra-sensitive MECHANICAL keyboards that defeat all the purposes of being... MECHANICAL.
It has an offensive "Windows" key. Pass.
