The problem is that there are a handful of police departments and officers that are corrupt or lazy enough to just take the loudest person at their word. The vast majority of the time, there is no penalty for trying to pull something like that, so people try to game the system and get property for free.
If Karen hadn't assaulted OP's daughter, she would have faced zero consequences for trying to use the police to steal OP's property.

ED can manifest with POTS. Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome-the blood pressure bottoms out and heart rate skyrockets to try and compensate. Salt pills and water will increase the fluid load in the blood vessels, like saline IV, bringing the blood pressure back up and indirectly lowering the heart rate.

SHOULD have called PO-PO as soon as your daughter was accosted and sent crying. There are states in USA (TX, FL, LA, MS, probably others but don't know) that have 'castle doctrine / stand your ground' laws that protect homeowner/property owner in the circumstance and use of force to remove unwelcome guests. story 1, similar story from me, but i was fishing in a large pond that was on my grandfather's property. now, mind you that he's owned it since the 70's and while his neighbors have come and gone, bought and sold property, he's always retained his, though he has occasionally added to it. also, i'd been working out of town for a while (security, the property i watched was a 12/12 on/on-call gig, room and board was paid, and it had us work 2 weeks then take 2 off). additionally, through circumstances that i can comment if anyone is interested, i'm the only one set to inherit the land, per his will.
anyhow, while i was fishing a woman came charging at me from across the field screaming at the top of her lungs that i can't do that, that i have to stop, that cops are on their way, etc. i reel in the cast i'd just set and drop the pole to wait for the cops. you accuse me of trespassing on my grandpa's property, i'll let you dig your own hole. while we wait, i stay silent, sit in the lawn chair i'd brought, and sip my beer, all the while she's raging about how i need to leave IMMEDIATELY (i'm not gonna run from the cops regardless. you call them, even if i'm in the wrong, i'm going to sit right where i am and wait, so i don't get fleeing tacked on).
eventually the cops show up. turns out, they know my grandpa, so they called him. the cops approach with my grandpa behind them. when he sees me, he starts laughing as hard as i've ever seen him laugh. the lady went from furious to confused. turns out, she was one of his new neighbors that he'd hired as a housekeeper once a week. he had told her that i might be coming by, but forgot to tell her who or what to look for to confirm its me. the cops looked mildly irritated at having been bothered for something so trivial, but they eventually laughed it off, gave her a verbal warning to "confirm theres danger or call non emergency before dialing 911".
she still works for him, and she hasn't bugged me about fishing there on my time off since. and btw, i used to fish there at the first day or two after my weeks on, weather permitting.

Plus when I found out the family was related to the president I brought it to light forcing the president to step down. Even she packed up and got her fat ass out of town. In my state, if the HOA declaration has an unconstitutional clause, it’s easy to have it dissolved. First HOA I lived in had as the first clause that only people of the Caucasian race could live there. And they actually tried to enforce that. A trip to court with the lawyer, HOA dissolved. The second HOA had 14 clauses in the declaration, 10 of them unconstitutional. Off to court again, HOA dissolved. And you don’t have to join the new HOA. The older an HOA is, the more likely it is that they will have something unconstitutional in the declaration. Most people don’t know what is constitutional and what isn’t and assume that it’s all good and never read the HOA declaration and rules. A homeowner has a surprising amount of rights they are often ignorant of.

"Your never the Ahole for calling the cops" shows a clear lack in watching/dealing with police encounters. There is nothing that can't be made worse by involving the police, and while most of these story will share possitive interactions with police there is thousands if not millions of hours of video on this site that shows just how bad it can get.

    Hi Ripe 😎⭐😺🧸,
    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If there's a Karen in the neighborhood, or you have nice land, or lakeside property... You should make copies, and laminate it for the police, your: deed, land survey, and mortgage paperwork. Just to prove you own your home and the surrounding land. And hide it near the door too. Because with a Karen around you're going to need it, and a lawyer. 🤷‍♀️ You might want an official second copy in a bank's safety deposit box, incase of fire.
You can't fix: stupid, crazy, or Karens.

The guy from Sears demanding that Granny come in and sign up for the address change in person needs to be reminded that the US Fair Debt Collection Act states that it is the RIGHT of a debtor to demand that proof of the debt be sent them. Tell the idiot from Sears that now he needs to send official proof of the debt, that actually shows that grandma owes the money, before they will be paid a single red cent. If he blathers about coming in to get the proof, let him know that the burden of proving the debt belongs to the one trying to collect it, NOT the supposed debtor, who, until they are sent proof IN WRITING and THROUGH THE MAIL, can deny that they owe the money and refuse to give them a single penny.
Then let him know that since the address he has on file is no longer her correct address, he will have to change the address he currently has on file to her NEW address, as anything sent to the address he has on file will not arrive. Suggest that he send it certified, return receipt with signature required. If he doesn't change the address, he won't get the return receipt.

Oh, and I forgot to mention... In the US, that same act lets you demand the creditor ONLY contact you BY MAIL. No phone calls, no email, and no contacting neighbors, relatives, or employers. So they'd have to do what you wanted them to do in the first place and change the address on file so they can comply with the law

Ripe, back in around 1990, won my first civil case. One partly for proving the defendant submitted false evidence, secondly having their attorney recorded on a radio shack micro tape recorder, clearly boasting they won't follow the judgement and calling a judge a slut, definitely has consequences in a court battle. No smart phones back then, and at the time, recordings were submisable in my state, without the other party's permission, as long as the one recording is part of the conversation. Phone calls were not submisable, unless as evidence for a felony, usually murder.
What was funny about that case, they almost immediately tried to prevent the recording being used as evidence, hence why I kept the tape right on the spot where they called the judge a slut. Playd it to be told to stop immediately, then it sunk in quite quickly what was said, that I got to play the whole 8 minute recording in entirety.

Story #1 OP is nuts. If someone gets hurt or worse, while on your property you could be found liable. The more you let in, the greater the chances that someone will do something stupid, get hurt, and sue you for their stupidity.

So much wrong here. First, spouses do not have claim to inheritance, even if they stay married. Inheritances are the sole property of the one they are left to. Second, no debt of a dead person, including medical bills, can be saddled onto a living relative. Walter can refuse to pay the medical bill and the hospital can't do anything. Additionally, Maddie stole the money from Tyler, not from Maddie. Payments should not be going directly to Maddie's account, but to the trust fund held by the executor to pay Tyler's outstanding debts, with whatever is left being distributed to the beneficiaries. Also, there are very few areas where adultery compensation is granted in divorces. An entertaining story, but this one just has way too many flaws.

First story, if they are on your land, at the shoreline, then yes...they are tresspassing. However...as someone who also has a lake in their backyard, im confused on how he owns the lake, even part of it? You own a tiny lot in the lake when the lake is considered at normal levels (doesnt count for floods, and like wise, droughts. Your propert isnt infinity ways out into water, just a tiny bit for the reasons of floods and droughts to have a distinct line of property.) Otherwise...lakes are considered public property. Or at the very least, HOA maintained/owned. The other exception is if the lake or pond is enclosed completely by your property. But...he said his lot is against about half of it. So..
How does he own even half of the lake? Im confused...

    • @Rhaenarys

Oh and because i know a lot of people suffer from selective reading issues, i am NOT saying OP is in the wrong. Nope. They were on his property, on the land, bbqing. Thats pretty clear trespassing. Im just curious on how he owns the whole lake by owning land that surrounds only half of it?

  • @paulwilliams5208
    @paulwilliams5208 Год назад

ok you have "trespass" BUT making a claim of property WITHOUT any legal grounds i.e. DEED, in of it's self must be a charge,
what people go through to lawfully gain these (land/car) involves time, money & paperwork, to then have someone come along out of the blue and poof they own
