Good job! I got my second Aloe Castilloniae blue hybrid for $6.00. The lady say it was an older plant. I got it 8/31/23. It bloomed its first spike after repot and fresh soil. The lady cut some of the roots harvesting pups off of it. She propped it up with a stick. I trimmed some roots in the pot and they wer root bound. I am so happy for the flower spike. I was and still have a few orchids but got hooked on Cacti and now Aloe Vera plants. Keep up the good work with cross polinating.
Wow....fantastic names Oik and Lizard hahaha..🤣 I’m not a great fan of aloes so only got 2/3 types haha. But I must say your aloe collection looks wonderful. I like how the Oik can change colours according to the season. Excellent job on your propagation and of course you deserve a thumbs up. Have a wonderful day ahead, Ana! 🙏🙏👍👍
I have several aloes, but must admit sometimes I get my aloes, gasterias, and hawarthias mixed up. Have several collections,: crown of thorns, peperomias, HOYAS!!!!, and plumerias. Good luck on your experiment. Look forward to result
Your Aloes are absolutely BEAUTIFUL Ana :-D I LOVE the variegation on them, and the seedlings are absolutely GORGEOUS :-D they are so cute, its definitely Aloe day haha as I filmed an update on my Aloe seedlings yesterday too and have the video coming on this afternoon, thanks so much for the fantastic update and for sharing, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and CAFFEINE and CACTUS POWER to Las Vegas for a wonderful Thursday ahead XXXX
Oh, hahaha. Now I’m looking forward to watching and seeing your aloe seedlings. This is my first time sowing them so I don’t know if they are growing fast enough.
Hi Anna! My God! Your aloe plants are gorgeous! I cannot wait to get an aloe Christmas carol. Congratulations on the success with the cross pollination and the germination. It's strange that I was doing some research on pollinating aloes just the other day and I see your wonderful update. Thank you for sharing the success with us. From the garden city of India to you my friend, have a fantastic weekend and stay blest always! Cheers!
Carl! How are you? We miss your videos and your voice. 😃 I was lucky to get seed pods from them. I’ve also been recently interested in aloe hybrids. Have you heard about Kelly Griffin? I’ve been watching and looking at his work lately. I believe he made the Christmas carol hybrid, too. 🙂🌵☕️
Great video, Ana. That’s very cool you’ve made some hybrids from those two, looking forward to seeing them when they’re bigger and develop their leaf markings. Been trying to hybridise some of my Haworthia but the flowers are so fiddly to work with haha, not been successful yet but I’ll keep trying. Thank you for sharing with us Ana, from Edith & myself, have a wonderful day 😊☀️🌵🌸🌺🌼☕️
It will be very interesting to see what happens in the next year!!! My aloe ferox grew quickly in just a year h The largest is 4 inches tall and as wide! Yes keep us updated Ana! I have taken cutting and will be sending them Saturday! From Morris park in the Ozarks , out to Las Vegas, have a great day!!!! Peace Love Plants!!!!✌💖🌵🌹🌴🌷🌷🌸🌻🍀🌺
Aw, congrats on sprouting the seeds. I enjoyed your other two videos when you first put them up. I remember that. I can't wait to see them develop and see what parental traits they will have. Good for you for bagging them individually. And yes the name of the mother plant goes fist in a cross. It would be neat to see how they are different. In nepenthes the mother usually gives the strongest traits so though the parents are the same the offspring being reverse cross might look a bit different from each other. Technically all are siblings.
Thanks Des. Yes, the first one on the name is the mother plant. I think I got some confused when I wrote ‘source’ on the bag. I meant ‘source of the seeds’. 😉 That is interesting to know that the mother plant will give more traits to the seedlings. I’m excited to see how different they would look. ☕️👍🏼
🤩 Hi Ana, congratulations! I'm so happy to see that this cross-pollination was successful.🏅 The seedligns look very well and are growing fast 👍. Looking forward to see how they turn as they grow bigger and which characteristics they get. I tried cross-pollinating with my Aloes and haworthias in the past but no success yet. But recently I harvested some seeds from my echeverias that I hope in autumn will germinate and will give me some emotion 😁. (Sorry if this sounds pedantic: I think the names should be the other way, with the mother first and the pollen donnors in second place following the "x". But I always get confused within the ICNCP and the ICBN rules...🙃. You must better check that before you definitely name them, if you want to register your cultivar). Thanks for sharing, this is so exciting! ☺️ Have a nice day 😘.
Oh aloe x haworthia will be interesting. 😃 I wish you success soon. Thank you for the information on the naming. The first name I wrote is the mother plant. I think I got many confused when I indicated ‘source’. I meant the source of the seeds by that and not source of pollen. 😀
@@CactusCaffeine Oh, I understand now! I misunderstood again, I'm sorry...😆 I should have seen again before commenting. 🙊 I became excited...😁 Congratulations again and a huge thank you for the good info and entertainment that you give to us 😘.
They are growing ok. I showed how the seedlings look now in my latest Seedlings Update video ( How are My Seedlings Doing?) ruclips.net/video/pEuRUG453oU/видео.html
These aloes are incredibly aesthetically pleasing!
They are very distinct looking. 🙂

Lovely aloes 😊🌵🍀🌼🙏
You just explained to me why my aloes are a different color than when I bought them. Thank you for that.
Some of them look prettier when stressed. 😃
They are so beautiful .

I hope you enjoy making your own hybrids! Awesome 😎
ah! So god to know Ana about the colors. I had no clue!
Some aloes get better colors when stressed, while some look better green. It is interesting to see their colors change. 🙂

I know. I look at them everyday but they are growing very slow. Lol! I can’t wait to see them grow. 😄

I want aloe lizard lips 😍
Haha, Dina. Sana matapos na itong COVID para mailagay ko na sa maleta ko.
Me too...how can we get some
Off topic. What is the name of the variegated aloe in the back right background? Thank you.
How long does it take before you take them out of the bag?
Kristoffer Absulio I’m giving them at least 3 months (maybe more) depending on how fast/slow they grow.
How to get aloe seeds?
Hi! Are you not selling the seeds?
Tidimalo Kaisara not this year. 😌 Thank you for expressing interest.
If you are selling some please let us know. All your plants are pretty.
Uptade!!!!
I showed the seedlings in the Final Spring 2021 video. 🙂
