Mondstadt is like the safest region in teyvat, i usually go there when i have to craft or test something, heal my characters etc..and it's the first place every player explore. so it might be so intriguing to find out that the place that trained each one player initially say goodbye to us forever or unleash a final battle

Well they announced that Honkai will have a part 1 end this year which means after 6yrs the Honkai story doesn't end yet. Since Genshin is more popular they probably do that as well.
A traveller journey never ends! So yeah you can expect there to be different worlds. Although they will need a reason for the journey to continue.

Each region's story in Genshin is called a chapter, it's just referring to the chapters that happen in Teyvat, because that's what they use to identify Genshin content

Honestly I feel like the end of Genshin is going to be really sad. After all those years, spent with all of our friends helping them, learning new things, the co-op, story quests, the fun events, and although we didn’t get what we wanted from the artifact domains, we still enjoyed playing it, even if it was the smallest bit buried in sorrow and sadness. Genshin is a viral game now, and I feel like it saved some people. That kind of includes me. Genshin was live changing to me.. and even if it ends I really hope that HOYO will continue adding characters, events, etc.. but your concept of another world is pretty good, except I can’t find the courage to leave everyone behind. By the end of teyvat, we met so many people, and learned about so many mechanisms, and helped other people solve their problems.. I feel like I can never leave behind teyvat.. mondstadt, liyue, inazuma, sumeru, everything is what makes Genshin Genshin.. receiving commissions from Katheryne.. artifact domains, getting a character you don’t want, and the co op and all the people you can meet are just apart of it, and Genshin ending would be so overwhelming.. I just cant bare thinking about it, because I feel so sad inside that my favorite game has come to an end.. Genshin is just so special, so beautiful and the sceneries are so pretty, Genshin is like another world where I can escape to.. it’s so magical and it just fits my style. I don’t want to write so much in here, so I’m gonna stop. Thank you so, so, so, so much, Genshin impact, and teyvat.

Try at next castle. But to enter it you need ALL region's and archon's problems.
The main character in Nier Replicant had an "easier" time finding his sister in the first castle he checked.
Unfortunately his actions leading up to her rescue led to consequences nobody could ever recover from-
Genshin has the Prologue chapter, then 1 chapter per region, then chapter 8 will be Khaenri’ah, and chapter 9 will be Celestia, and then finally there will be an epilogue chapter.
Mihoyo uses the term "Hoyoverse" a lot when discussing their content. I'm willing to suspect they already have the next world in mind for Lumine and Aether to travel to when they finish Teyvat. Maybe we'll visit Honkai?

Just imagine after the ending credit scene. They go in an elevator it opens and a red headed guy , kongming , rita , haxxor and asuka from evangelion greets them and the twins salutes back and greet the man as captain.
What if the whole genshin impact is just a side story of the captainverse event.
I actually think that the twins will stay in Teyvat in the end.

I would love the idea of being able to go to different worlds in genshin! Problem is i don't think we'll be able to bring our old characters to the new world. But if we could use the old characters it would probably be people like dainsleif, alice, archons, or anyone that actually knows we're from another world.
