How fast is the Arrma Felony 6s blx right out of the box? For Valentine's Day I got Abby a $650 rc car, so we took it out for a speed test for her birthday. This is the Arrma Felony 6s BLX Street Basher All road rc car. This is a 1/7th scale BEAST! In this video, lets see how fast we can get it to go right out of the box. Also keep in mind to upgrade the axles on the losi lmt monster truck.. company called trealz I think it's called. Other RUclipsrs are fixing them up because original axles break. There metal upgrade axles..

i'm sure you're well aware but be careful with these cold ass temps, a lot of plastics get super brittle and shatter real easy

I got the Arrma felony 2 weeks ago in orange. It's my first 6s and what a car.
There are certain things in life you must do before you die, running the speed pinion on full throttle on a Fellony is one of those things.
First thing I would do with that car is put one of my micro drone cameras on it and go fpv 😁👍
You should clock it at 100% first, when the batteries were "fresh"!
I just converted mine to 8s, still haven't gotten a chance to run her yet. After watching this video I am both stoked and scared!

Must be speed running it at 8s.
Or else you just like buying tires every battery pack.
I can't imagine hooning that thing around on 8s not completely balding the tires every run.
PS: I'm not being mean or a hater. I just own a Felony myself, and 6s is hard enough on the tires.
I don't think I'll be converting mine to 8s, as I don't have an airport runway with which to drive it on.

I just bought one and I love this thing. And it my first major RC I ever bought.
It’s an irreplaceable feeling huh… man I was in Lala land for the first whole year when I got my felon.. after about exactly a year, I started getting it into speed run mode with castle combo.

I skipped to the speed pinion on my first run, happy i got it and did not disapoint. Looks like you guys had fun despite the fridge like weather lol 👍👍

I got this car and it’s by far the funnest car yet. Downside is the tire replacement though since they are always on back order
There’s now TOYO PROXY radial tires for the felony. Front & back, Same staggered diameter as factory to match the diff gears. They used the same 5 star mags so look hard to notice them if you search for those proxy… I haven’t used them yet but I’m hoping they are much better than the stock white hoons!
I fly a lot of drones so I use lights to put on them so you can see them at night I use industrial-strength Velcro so maybe that would help with that GPS unit you guys put on your cars and trucks just a thought but I enjoy you guys a channel I just subscribed loving it and I am also a local Kentuckian big 👍🏻 up

Love the channel kids. You make the “old man” smile about Rc again. My first Rc was a rc10 GT..AND A KYOSHO ICARUS THEN ON TO AN OPTIMA. I kept on and ended up with several Traxxas cars including the traxxas bandit. Love them all. You all should do some old school stuff. Keep Rockin kids. I’ll keep watching!
I can vouch that the Felony is one amazing car. It's sex on wheels. I removed the ugly rear wing(who needs downforce?) and added the blower. Congrats on getting one of the best r/c's ever made.

That looks really cool. I hit 60mph in the little 144001😳😃 I put a layer of gorilla tape across the the back and around the ends to keep the battery door on. You just have to make a small cutout for the charge cable.

Need to get more boat boxing's so you guys be ready for spring and summer... Lol!!! Hahahaha!!! This dam cold. You still lucky down there.. Maine gets pretty cold sometimes.. but I sometimes feel bad to Alaska and Canada what they got to go threw. Wish they make more hobby grade snowmobiles.. like they do to jetski's for the water.. but I've seen folks upgrade there Walmart snowmobiles to be close to grade.. new electronics and motors from hobby grade into a toy grade . It's pretty kool!! But wish rc company's put out more snowmobiles for days like these.. for winters. I know they have tracks for the trucks and buggies but it's not the same to me..
WOW!! This is a great looking CAR not a truck, Abby! I would definitely get the black one myself if I could afford to get one. And I like the blown engine scoop, the pipes one looks like something that you might put on an old ?55 bel air. Good thing you had a airport runway, otherwise might not have gotten to full throttle! (from the videos I've seen) better save up for a bunch of spare tires! 😃

I hit 60mph with my stock Felony also. I had a much shorter play area so maybe 61 would be possible.
I have probably run 10 batteries through it and am on my fourth set of tires! Buy tires any time you see them cheaper than usual!
Am I the only one who takes an old fpv quad and mounts it to a car and drives fpv? It's sooo much fun!
You think the maxamp 12000mah 3s lipo pair batteries would give more run time and performance then the spektrum lipos

@@roblowrie1969 dude I was saving for the infraction and my washing machine packed up and it cost me 400 for a new one. I just started again with every spare penny I had and eventually got there.
I know it's tough to save up. My Fellony is like a child. I sometimes just sit and stare at it.lol

I got mine im very disappointed the esc was broke out of the box tires wear out to fast my batteries were not good enough and just a ton of other problems it wouldn't trim up im just very very disappointed with it and screws stripped with the Allen wrenches it came with but under the right conditions its pretty nice ish I just can't personally recommend it but if u have ur eye set on it go for it but u need a wife road really nice batteries and good Allen wrenches and lock tight

You guys are amazed by the battery telemetry on the Spektrum DX3 transmitter why not try a DX5 Pro? I think the 5 has built-in telemetry to measure MPH. Maybe do a video and compare DX5 Pro accuracy to your GPS.
Guys, please tell what model that SkyRC speed meter is. I didn't know it contained a 1s lipo. I have the oldest model but haven't cracked it open. I always assumed that there would be an inaccessible battery and would need to replace the entire unit when the battery quit charging.
