- So something a little different in today's video. What I have here is a silver pocket watch that isn't working. This is part 1 of 2, the first being the strip-down and the second being the re-assemble.

Hey mate , please do more watch restoration videos. Your great at them.
Thanks
I most certainly will be. Currently working on a vintage gold Longines 👍
That was excellent.
Wow man i can already tell you i wouldn’t ever get my damn pw back together again lol. 😩🤦🏼♂️ 😆😂🤣
I would like to see someone do that with no prior experiance with watch repair!
That was excellent
Great video. I have an identical watch (Is this a 6s?). The hairspring was filthy and the collet came off when attempting to clean it. Any idea where to get a replacement hairspring/collet combo? I attempted to reinstall it but it is way too small and beyond my abilities/tools. So far i placed it in my donor box =-(.
How do you find out what crown and stem a pocket watch uses if the crown and stem are missing
Where did the pallet fork go? Never saw that removed. Not seen the rebuild vid yet so may have that explained then.
I believe this one does not have a pallet fork. It is a cylinder balance wheel, it has a steel escapement wheel at the bottom that spins the balance wheel back and forth an energy is released.
I like it
Thank you :)
Cool! :D
Thanks man👍
Hi are you in UK

Hey I’m taking apart a Minerva stop watch trying to use a 1.0 50mm screwdriver but can’t get one strew which size should I get ?
Update got the whole thing stipped down just waiting for the oil and cleaning then il gunna put back together
Hard to say tbh. If the screws are a similar to that in this video, than either a 1.4 or 1.6 should do the trick
👍👍👍💟
🙂🙂.
