this is probably quite similar to the first generations of domesticated bees
since modern honey bee was probably bread for volume as opposed to sweetness
and to be fair the modern honey is plenty sweet as is, so I can't imagine we're missing out that much considering that the killer honey would cost like 10 times as much if it was ever produced on commercial scale at all

The killer bee honey is more fresh and full of all kinds of good stuff for you, while the yellow "Honey Bee" stuff is all crystalized and a lot of the good stuff in it is no longer there for you to benefit from.
Getting honey straight out of the comb and fresh, or not aged enough for it to crystalize, is the best way to go if you are eating it for the healthy benefits it can bring you.

I eat a spoonful of honey at least once a day. I get it locally, because my Dr had recommended it for my allergies. But, I also use it in the afternoon early evening when I start to lag,and feeling tired. It definitely gives me some energy for the busiest time of my day, after my son gets out of school and dinner time. Plus, I recently started taking royal jelly for helping with PMS/menopause symptoms and I have noticed less hot flashes. I didn't like the taste of just the Royal Jelly so I started mixing them both together.
I still don't know how when it's made of pollen. It amazes me.
