  • Watch me build a walnut dining table using a minimal amount of epoxy to make flawed wood useable. Being gentle with the budget by using normal sized slabs and not going over board with epoxy. Finished with Rubio Monocoat.

Very nice job. I'm one of those non epoxy guys, but this is a very good example on how to use epoxy in a very elegant way. Congratulations and all the luck to you!

@@SamWanamaker1I cannot stand those guys like foureyes, or blacktail studio. They do a great job, but they talk the whole damn time. I want to hear the tools working, I want to figure how they do the things. I don’t want them to tell me another story about their wife and the bleach he used on the wood. Lol! Frankly speaking, I don’t know where they find so many things to say 😂

    Bonjour.

      Salut.
The oil is called rubio Monocoat and the base layer is the color „walnut“ and the top layer is „pure“.
It’s possible to us it as a 1K system but i used the accelorator bc i had to deliver it in the next few days.
      Have fun on your project!🤩

Wow, it turned out beautiful, The metal brace support made for a perfect build, well done, young man.
You're obviously very skilled, and have access to some great tools(love the plasma cutter?).
I just have one question, and it's not a criticism. I just want to understand your reasoning; Why didn't you save yourself a ton of work by just getting a better piece of walnut instead of using that wore out pithy plank with epoxy filler? Add it up, and that chit's about the same price as quality wood in my mind.
Subscribed for quality workmanship (and no silly narration). Take care. (you could really use a helper :-)

      Thank you so much!
I started buying tools during my apprentice and piece by piece the collection got bigger:) But also made important Connections to use bigger tools.
About the wood: I really liked the character of the wood and its grain, and the ease of seeing a photo online and buying it and not having to visit diffrent sawmills(like its still common in my country)
Thank you for subscribing, I really hope you enjoy the furure content🤝 I have some of the best helpers around, but sometimes I‘m just stupid and impatient :))
      Much love Julian

underrated video, i love it. but definitely not "budget friendly" as that wood itsself is probably a good few hundred at least. How much did you spend on the wood itsself?
