Joe Rogan buys stuff for people that he likes without telling them? This is an act of love. It's great to hear stories like this. People like Joe Rogan give me hope for humanity.
I like Rogan, but it doesn’t strike me as all that humane or impressive that someone with literal hundreds of millions of dollars buys things for their less wealthy friends lol. Wouldn’t most people? I’m sure there are money-hoarding assholes among the super rich, but I bet most of them are fairly regular people, just with giant bank accounts.
It's almost awkward being around "celebrities", especially as a random friend. There is always the fear of "I hope they don't think I want anything from them". But if you were friends before they got popular, then it's just like being around any other of your friends.

Bert is always very humble and almost doesn’t give himself the credit that he deserves.He has found himself blessed with a awesome group of friends and THAT in itself is tough.
I like Bert, I honestly do. But I've noticed that most of his schtick is laughing hysterically at his own stories. Especially if a joke doesn't get over as good as he wants it to. The thing is it's not new material. It's the same stories told on a circuit. A loop. Town to town , city to city. So there's no way he can genuinely laugh to the point of tears every God damn night at the same story over and over and over. The fake wheezy laugh is a crutch for him. That being said he is really funny. I'm a fan, just an observation. Ari is hysterical though. You should check out his stuff

Nicely done, you're absolutely right. I think Joe Rogan believes in being yourself on stage AND being funny; not just being funny for the sake of being funny. I have no doubt your switch would've solved Joe Rogan's problem with the joke. That said, I personally think Bert Kreischer's joke could be fine, depending on what followed that joke. He could very well have come to the conclusion that the girl he would've ended up with would've been much worse. Also, I'm a big believer in honesty, so if that was his honest thought in that conversation with his wife, then he should stick to it in my opinion. That is then indeed "being himself" anyway.
I can relate to Pat’s story ab Peyton because I went to a summer camp and became acquainted with a child actor who is famous in Mexico and people wanted me to get her to follow them on social media but it was so awkward because I barely knew her.
Bert and Tom segura are so awesome as a comedy duo on two bears Rogan is a unique inspirational character it must weird being around a guy like Joe while still being overweight I wonder how many times a day joe gets on them to work out more. I am overweight also and as a former college athlete my friends break my balls all the time and none of them are remotely close to joe rogan in stature. My favorite part of rogan is when Tom, ari, and Bert do his show you can see the genuine friendship and every guy on the planet lives for those moments with good friends it’s awesome when they open up to the audience that way.
