As someone who's worked with both middle schoolers AND high schoolers, ALL kids under 18 have short attention spans and they ALL laugh at fart/poop conversations lol
Honestly I think it depends tho, I have the shortest attention span ever but when it comes to classes especially languages classes I always try to stay on track and in my class we were like 4 teenagers and tbh I think that we were just as good as adults
Very true, but also you can talk about tv shows and things it's hilarious.
You know what I'm discovering, though? Their attention spans seem longer on Zoom.

I relate to BM on how hard it is to get kids to pay attention I used to be a pre-K teacher’s assistant (pre Corona) and I was in the classrooms with 1-3 year olds and it’s so hard to get them to do something like pick a up a toy or something like that. But they are so cute like as much as it’s a pain to get kids to pay attention it’s rewarding when you see kids laugh and smile and accomplish something.
That ending was epic! I laughed out loud! Thank you guys!

I can relate to BM’s tutor experience so much! I was once a teaching assistant and I was driven crazy by those kids. Honestly for a person who doesn’t like kids that much, that was a nightmare.
