I discovered Nanci too late, what a lovely person she was. I have been listening to as much of her music as possible over the past month and learning to play some of her songs. RIP beautiful lady.
Still the most beautiful smile of all time. I got to stand next to her at an after party for some democratic candidate for NYC and my daughter says " you should date my dad" and Nanci smiled that smile and said "my sweetie might have an issue with that" when all I wanted to say was that her song on Viet Nam was so refreshing from a time when we both grew up with people spitting on me for wearing my USMC uniform in public. Anyway, Nanci, thank you for being you and changing my world with your music. But please do a duet whole album with John Prine as you two could rule the world!!!!!
💙🙏💙 Just heard Nancy sing a song about the Loving Family - on NPR - came to hear her voice again. Nancy U R in my 💙 ForEver💙🙏💙ThankYou Nancy 💙R.I.P.💙🦋🙋♀️

Mr. Moody Guy in the hat who wasn't even in diapers when she hit the scene in 85......maybe she should be produced by someone who knows, experienced and appreciates her history.....
Great singer, very blind politically which I was somewhat surprised about. I just don't think because you knew Lyndon Johnson's nephew, that is a reason to support the guy. Viet Nam for one; Kennedy assassinations for the other and the root cause of our immigrant saturation problem comes from the Immigrant Act of '65 under his watch. I have to say I lost a bit of respect for Nanci's legacy with her final album, rather simplistic notions of democrats good, republicans bad and she was my favorite female singer between '88 and '93

I had NO clue Pat McInerny was a Brit!
From Hemel Hempstead no less. As Nanci once joked 'the centre of the universe ' 😂
The Confederacy still thrives.

Yes, but Republicans bad. Full stop. So, there it is. Guess you can’t like Dixie Chicks anymore either.
