Once I was cruising with a friend of mine at 90 mph, curiously right when we were in the middle of two lanes of a motorway. Then I said: " Rotate!" hahaha
Gate2Gate Aviation trust me. I'm only a 16 year old secondary school student and i change up and down the gears of my bicycle on the road afterschool thinking that I'm in the cockpit of an aircraft. And when there is something wrong with the bicycle (it's not the best bicycle in the world), I go through some memory items and check the systems of my bicycle to check how my throttle (pedal power) might affect the bicycle and I check the brakes to test its functionality and whether it can stop at the end of the runway in time (or the road for that matter)

Whenever coming back home I always pretend the breaking of the car before hitting the junction into my street is the descent, so that before I hit the junction to turn into my street I keep going ''50... 40... 30... 20... 10..." then I hit the junction, turn left and taxii to the gate, uhm, I mean... drive into the street and park the car.
hahaahaha.... Car start checklist..... loved it... anyways i still did not get why a car moves right if i turn the wheel right.... it should roll to the right... :)
I know that... My driving school instructor always tells "HANDS TO THE STEERING WHEEL"... because I mostly keep my right hand at the gear change... The power of habit... :D
You can get your ppl (private pilots license) for around 6000 in the usa and about 15.000 in the netherlands (where I live) But if you want to be a comercial pilot, lets say in a 737 or something like that, it would cost atleast 100k
MrAviation You know there are multiple kinds of pilt's licenses? A VFR-License for small planes isn't that expensive. IFR Ratings costs about 10 Grands. For flying those planes for business you need another license and for flying the big ones another one. And then you need a type-rating for any aircraft you want to fly. I would calculate 100 Grands for it
Today we're on our way to Costco, the time is 1645 on a tuesday so we can expect rush hour in a few so to compensate we'll take the alternate route off the highway. If there's any problems with the engine then I'll take her off to the side and perform a visual inspection; if anything happens to the tires then don't worry, I know the number to our local Tow company. Calls being made during taxi are: Gear one, gauges green and groundspeed alive.
+RacinZilla003 ... if you look to the compartment infront of you, you will find the safety manual, please read it carefully. If oxygen gets low, you can find the lever to your side on the door, quickly roll it down to allow a fresh supply of air into the cabin. If we come into an emergency involving water you will find a life jacket under your seat, it is advised that you do not inflate while in the cabin as it may interfere with your exit. The weather at our destination is 20 degrees, partly cloudy with wind speed at 8mph. The duration of our journey will be 20 minutes.
Whenever I flip a light switch (specially ones in the United States, they're a switch not a button) I always feel like I'm flipping a Hydraulic Pump or something in a 737. I appreciate this video on so many levels.
Cruise control for auto throttle/auto pilot. I always press the "cancel" button in my car for engage/disengage. Then once more to cancel the siren alert. Then when I approach traffic on the freeway, the TCAS message, "traffic traffic" plays in my head.

Anybody else pull and push on the wheel when going up and down hills? How about hearing ATC as you accelerate to get on the interstate and at stop lights? I would hate to be alone.
I also only turn my headlights on when i'm actually leaving. When i'll be sitting in my car waiting for another minute with the engine running I'll just have my parking lights on. I can not sit there with the engine running and no lights on at all.
Haha, this is great. I rewired my car and fitted toggle switches for electrics, ignition, radio etc. It's basically an 777 now and NOT a 20 year old heap of crap. Yes... you can start boarding now.
Harsh 05 very few people live on the wetlands side of Ac between Safeway and Vallejo so I drive on the double yellow acting like it’s a taxiway when driving to the grocery store

Same here.

Yeah but at the end of the day, jokes aside, you actually DO get to be that cool.
Loving the old school armand van helden's phunk phenomena track in background
Absolutely true and brilliant. As wannabe pilot I love when I get to flip some clicky switches.
I've been flying a Skyhawk for 120 hours and I still haven't thought of having a checklist in my car. Why the hell did I never think of this?

you gotta admit, that honda jazz/fit feels like a cessna on a rough road
I do this exact thing, and the only switch my car roof is the garage switch, so i always want to be the one pressing it, lol
Haha i do this too! I hope you will make more 737 cockpit scenes videos! Its inspiring me to be future pilot in B737!
I drive texting, like I'm contacting maintenance dispatcher that I have mechanical issues with my plane.
This is me every time I get in the car
All he did was turn the ground power on, one of the lights, tested the voice recorder i think, and set both IRS switches to NAV.
Legendary Eagle affirm
So true haha the light switches of my house also look like aircraft switches, and I tend to drive on the centerline
I thought I was the only weirdo xD I'm not alone :')
been looking for a vid like this for years.. thanks for the upload
I also only turn my headlights on when i'm actually leaving. When i'll be sitting in my car waiting for another minute with the engine running I'll just have my parking lights on. I can not sit there with the engine running and no lights on at all.

I was expecting the "reality" shot to be of a Cessna cockpit or of a flight simulator or something... This was even funnier.
Called me out there, but at least I have the school coming up for the real deal
i use my phone as a FMC and the radio for tuning(usually country plays) #pretend
I love your videos, please make more...
I was wondering what airline you fly for?
Im not alone thank god!
I miss those days in that Cessna 172N cockpit. I need to stop dreaming and actually get back in there.
True, I am glad people think in the same way as I do!
