me too. At my Costco they had that big double jar box plus the Vaseline stick on clearance for $6.97. 🎉😮🎉❤. I’m also using it now on my feet several days a week under socks and I have noticed a difference on that too. the Doc is always harping on that one as well. 😆
Hi Dr. Dray! I have to thank you a million times over for recommending the LaRoche Posay cicaplast gel for the under eyes! It has helped me so much! My concealer no longer looks dry and cakey because they are now so hydrated. I have used so many different eye creams and will never go back! Thanks again!
I’ve been a cosmetologist instructor and stylist for years. Hands down my favorite it Paul Mitchell super skinny. It’s lightweight but packs a punch. More expensive than drugstore products but a bottle lasts me a year. Something you might want to consider ☺️
Loved your vlog Dr. Dray! I look forward to watching your videos!, You look sooo pretty…always! You’re videos are so educating. I’m 74…I really like the Gold bond products! Have a blessed weekend!
hey Doc. That tip you gave about the hydrogen peroxide and the drains was absolutely golden. I thought it was a rust or something in there that I could never get out, but it foamed away, so it must’ve been organic material. And now it is gone. I’m gonna routinely buy hydrogen peroxide to keep under my sinks. THANK YOU.
I jumped down the hair oil rabbit hole big time! I oil my scalp with Mielle rosemary oil with a scalp massage about 1 hour before washing. Then, when styling on dry ends, I use the Moroccan Oil Light (only a couple of drops will do ya). My hair looks better than ever.!
I only got a load of laundry done, coffee and researched some items on YT. I enjoy dilly dallying on Saturday morning, they go by too fast though..I’m finally going to use sunscreen, thanks to your influence 😊My skin is so parched & itchy that I’ll use the Paula’s Choice Calm mineral SPF because it looks so humectant, low risk of irritation and easily spreads. An African American woman put it on YT vlog & showed white cast disappeared after it dried down. Plus it’s the only one I have until my Ulta is delivered. Enjoyed Walmart clip, that is a cute cardigan! Your shower curtain looks like the Sephora stripes, lol. Have a beautiful weekend!

Pachinko is a wild ride and I haven't seen the tv/movie series but I would recommend the book more so. I was moved by it and I may re-read it again this summer.
I actually know one of the stars of the Pachinko series (it’s on Apple TV). Sohee Park / Soji Arai (he’s Korean but born in Japan so he has a Korean and a Japanese name and his lived experience growing up in Japan is pretty analogous to the book/series.
Last summer Kroger had a bomb pop flavor sparkling water, and I swear, all time favorite. And I've tried them all, name brand and otherwise. Sure hope they sell it again ❤💙🤍
Dr. Dray, would love for you to share your makeup/sunscreen removal routine if you are interested! I personally always find that a hassle and am very curious how you approach it! Thanks!
Hey Doc! do you have any skincare advice for surfers? (or any other sea sports tbh) - I slap on some zinc SPF50 and vaseline but what else should I be doing? Thanks!
Pachinko is so good! Apple TV has a mini series but it only covers a part of the book so I’m waiting for more seasons. Book is chronological and TV series moves back and forth in the timeline.
I love hair oiling! I like the fable and mane pre shampoo oil, I tried a sample and might buy that next. For now, I’m using one from Earth Harbour that has coconut oil and is also nice to use before shampooing. Also, I use a Korean hair essence in damp hair that is basically an oil and after I blow dry/air dry I use a Japanese camellia hair oil to smooth frizz and my hair is already looking so smooth. That’s saying a lot considering Houston is soooo humid 😂 I don’t straighten my hair a ton but when I do then I use the old school bio silk smoothing oil.
Looking forward to your review of Pachinko! The tv show is phenomenal, visually and otherwise. I appreciated how the story, that is seemingly so distant location-, time- and culture-wise still was so universally human and I could relate to so many things. This being a generational saga is also so up your alley! 😅 Hope you'll give the tv show a try once you finish the book, it's really well-done, and the Korean/Japanese dialogue really adds so much which could be even lost in the English-translated book.
Strap in this a long on. I have sensitive dry skin normally. I am 30, female, never struggled with acne in all my teen years. In the last 6 months(winter in dry environment) i started washing my face with gentle cleanser and then applying gentle lotion. I finish by drying with a clean towel. That went well. I have olive completion so tinted mineral is best, I guess. Eucerin sensitive mineral face, looked nice but made the skin above my top lip have a dry flaky rash. I think it was the straight Zinc 24%. I have really liked Cetaphil Redness Relieving Daily Facial Moisterizer blends into my olive skin well. In the evening I remove with gentle Micellar Cleansing Water and gentle clenser followed with lotion. Since trying to wear spf lotion everyday I am breaking out with acne! I have several white heads and a few cystic, a stye.... I have had dry skin all my life how could I possibly over mostrize!?! Help me!
Hi Dr Dray, I tried the Bullfrog sunscreen and love how light it is, no stickiness. However, it pills with the moisturizers I use at night after my shower. I have been looking for a good body sunscreen. I will check out the frog sunscreen! Love your content! You are the one inspired me to start taking care of my skin!
I had a bad experience with Bullfrog in the 1980’s. It was guaranteed not to come off until you wash with soap. So I put on Bullfrog before going to the pool, let it dry and put a t-shirt and shorts over it. After doing my laps at the outdoor pool, I was really sunburned across my shoulders and upper back. Obviously rubbed right off.
Haven't tried the tropical flavor of waterloo. let us know how it is. I have tried the peach, pineapple, watermelon and cherry limeade flavors. they have all been good.

It would be beneficial for Neutrogena to consider reformulating their sunscreens to make them more eye-friendly for a wider range of users. I would like to buy that bull frog and maybe use it on my face. Would you recommend that? It has alcohol 40 in it and I have no clue what that is. This may seem like a crazy question, but can melanoma be genetic? I'm currently undergoing immunotherapy for melonoma. After a biopsy of a small mole on my shoulder, it turned out to be melonoma. I have to travel nearly 200 miles round-trip every 3 weeks for treatment. The surgery was pretty invasive & left an 11" scar. Good news, I just received clearance on my 3 month checkup of a full body exam from my dermatologist. He did not see anything else of concern. I have 3 daughters, and they are very pale and have always argued that I would not let them tan. I've always been good about keeping sunscreen on them. Are they still going to be more likely to have melanoma?
Thanks for your input! I have a request. Could you cover the topic of hyaluronidase as an agent for reversing HA in non-emergency situations? Many people nowadays are very aware about the longevity of filler and want to dissolve problematic regions (which were usually very satisfying in the very beginning, but started to retain water after several years), and first and foremost going the natural route with PRP, PRF and devices - and accepting our looks, even as we age. I would be very grateful for an evaluation of the horror stories and real data. Under ultrasound guidance and with professionals doing the dissolving on HA substances/brands that are well-known to providers, with an allergy test beforehand AND on a customer who is aware that the region may need revitalization… it should be a relatively safe procedure… right?
Yes sometimes recommendations doesn't work for other folks. Also i can't imagine not washing my face in the morning. My eyes are full of sh** after a night. At least cool water splash helps 😂

The Bullfrog gel emphasizes "Oxybenzone & Octinoxate Free" -- are either of those what can cause my light colored clothes to stain orange if I perspire even the tiniest bit?!? If I wore that lovely shirt I'd risk it & go without sunscreen or wear an all mineral zinc or titanium actives only 😢
According to Google, it's the oxybenzone zone and avobenzone that turns clothes yellow and orange. I completely avoid sunscreen that use these; I use Korean sunscreens instead of mineral sunscreens (Blue Lizard).

In Phoenix, we also have a climate control problem. Freezing cold in restaurants, movie theaters, the library, but hot as can be outside. 🌵 Happy Saturday everyone.
I used to live out there, and that used to drive me nuts. Anytime I could get a break at work, I would go stand outside just so I could warm up because they always had the AC cranked to absolute zero.

@@Manda698Thank you !! This will help so much! Happily I've been using Korean on my face for about a year (yay HaruHaru) but still wary of all-over body choices especially water resistant options.
What is the safest nail polish remover? I like polish but nail polish removers are so toxic.
The Salon Life on RUclips has lots of great info on nail care.
In Phoenix, we also have a climate control problem. Freezing cold in restaurants, movie theaters, the library, but hot as can be outside. 🌵 Happy Saturday everyone.
Yes, it takes planning, lol
I used to live out there, and that used to drive me nuts. Anytime I could get a break at work, I would go stand outside just so I could warm up because they always had the AC cranked to absolute zero.
It's afternoon with Dr.Dray!
I read pachinko! Love it but it is also very sad
2:58 that’s actually a very glamorous angle Dr Dray.
Can I do co2 in the summer ?
Dr.Dray, what’s you opinion on Russian manicure?
This kind of manicure trims the proximal nail fold (often mistaken for the cuticle), which is living skin, something that shouldn’t be done. Check out videos from The Salon Life - a professional nail tech.
I like Waterloo but just bought the Tropical Fruit…I don’t like it. I like the orange vanilla and lemon cello
