I was watching the newest episode (7x03) Nolan was following a bad guy through a dark underground corridor and he was flipping his flashlight on when moving through a corner and then *turning it off* afterwards. Deliberately. I was floored. What happened to "Lights on, Boot!"? Edit Okay, nevermind, he did that thing where you stick your back to cover in a firefight as opposed to keeping your gun between you and the target. This is the Rookie.
I get why you had to jump forward to see officer Texas aka officer Sugar, there wasn't a lot of spoilers in what you watched, although some in the comments trying to fill you in. I really enjoy watching your reactions, learning about all the things the show does wrong. I've never really cared about how realistic a show is because it's just supposed to be entertainment, but recently I was watching Rookie and getting annoyed with choices the writers were making, especially about the rookies and officer Sugar and I was thinking, I'm watching to much Bill and Josh, I won't stop though😀
Bradford got assigned back as a TO due to them being short staffed and a lot of other stuff going on at the department which is why Chen is also a TO now
Told ya.They use every cliche in the book. 27:35 explains a lot🤣 They can't call in swat.they don't have the styling with extra hold budget, which nolan dooes
The writers put so much effort into trying to 'seamlessly' explaining certain decisions like why characters are doing things outside of their status and area of responsibility and you lost so much of the exposition especially around Tim by cutting around Officer Sugarland. A lot of your questions would have been answered or explained to the audience since they know people are coming into either relatively new or having forgotten how last season ended.
Did "Nolan" improvise "Texas PD"? Kinda looked like a bit of a "He's from... fuck where is he from... Texas PD! Yuuup! Yeehaaaw!" Bill and Josh: "There would be SWAT and stuff.. It's not like FBI has HRT" Me: "It's not like the DHS and maybe the fucking military would be there..." (I mean, DHS, maybe DOD, if it's navy maybe NCIS, ooo a crossover would be epic! xD ) Also I got a weird feeling that a guy shooting at Police in the middle of a bunch of people (crowds), it would be more of a reaction like "Fuck it I might get shot but the civilians are at greater risk" and you just go for it and fuck them up(Nolan style)? And there are no rifles because they defunded the police xD

For what its worth, I'm from Beaumont Tx, about 2hrs from Sugar Land and I have never once done the 2 finger salute or said "Howdy" in my life.
That is true 🤣 I have never said howdy unironically and I've lived in Texas my whole life LOL
@ Yeah, Bevil Oaks doesn't have a police force anymore but they had one for 10+ years. It consisted of 1 LEO that they labeled as a Marshall. He was in his 50's-60's and operated out of his house lol. The one before him was so overweight that when he did a traffic stop he would get on the loud speaker and make you get out of your vehicle and walk back to his vehicle. 🤦🏽♂️🤣
Howdy, from College Station TX 😂 we say it a lot here
🤣🤣🤣 Howdy from DFW lol
Nolan is not Batman. He is Green Lantern.
(In the upcoming Superman movie)
Omg for real?
There are a lot of them.@@OnlyCops
@@OnlyCopsyeah but he’s like the worst green lantern he doesn’t even play Hal Jordan or John Stewart (obviously) he’s playing guy Gardner who everyone hates
@@TheHaas123he did play Hal Jordan in the new 52 animated movies though
@@ohneil yeah but not in live action
WHAT THE NEW EPISODE???? Oooooo i know ima love this already
I was watching the newest episode (7x03)
Nolan was following a bad guy through a dark underground corridor and he was flipping his flashlight on when moving through a corner and then *turning it off* afterwards. Deliberately. I was floored. What happened to "Lights on, Boot!"?
Edit
Okay, nevermind, he did that thing where you stick your back to cover in a firefight as opposed to keeping your gun between you and the target. This is the Rookie.
I had the exact same experience LOL
Bill, we need to hold him 37:24. NOLAN FOR HALLOWEEN 2025!!!
LET'S GOOOO
11:42 should watch EP 4 😂😂 texas boy dose just that
Oh no 🤣🤣🤣
Are you still planning to do the entire series? I really want to see how you guys react to Stanton in season 3
Yes 🥰 we promise
I want to see them react to Badger in Season 3 😄
@@themandomercgaming that will be funny
As Texas officers, do you claim this character as a Texas officer? And love your content gents! Keep
Up the good work
Absolutely not 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the support!
There's a new show on Amazon prime called on call and its based in long beach instead of la
That was a good one
We watched episode 1, very impressed so far
havent seen it yet
24:25 STAFF Sergeant Tim Bradford :D
He has a watch commander rank Grey had before he made LT.
*staff sergeant Tim Bradford lol
Yall really just skipped 5 seasons lmao
We are going to go back 🤣
So how does the ranking system work for cop cause tim had a staff Sargent rank on. Is like a military ranking system
What about the rest of the seasons. Are y'all still gunna watch those.
@@gamelove0169 we are! We just got a ton of requests to react to Texas PD
@OnlyCops try 9-1-1 lone star
Absolutely love that y'all are back on the rookie
we are back baby!
36:44 the officer that was shot is the guy that played doug stanton
Oh wow! Good catch!
I'm sorry we are changing the lens you watch the show through lol I hope you eventually find it enriching!
Bradford got assigned back as a TO due to them being short staffed and a lot of other stuff going on at the department which is why Chen is also a TO now
i can't believe Bob Ross turned to a life of crime
Right?!?!?! My childhood is ruined lol
This is a fun one. Love you guys.
thanks for the love!
You may actually enjoy 911 Lonestar as it does have a different spin than 911 or The Rookie
We plan to give it a watch soon!
They are short FTOs and are not giving a recruit to smitty
Hahahahaha well that makes sense
@ smitty is “retired on duty” 😂😂😂
9-1-1 Lonestar would be hilarious! It’s set in Austin!
You’d definitely need to get some police heavy scenes/episodes though, because it’s mostly FD/EMS
Oh Lord 🤣 we will add it to the list!
I really enjoyed your reaction. So entertaining and informative. Please react to blue bloods whenever you have the time.
Thank you so much! We are definitely planning to do some episodes of Blue Bloods soon!
15:42 on the accent the actor is actually from New Orleans. Which makes sense to me as i hear a lot of mush mouth from him
That makes WAY more sense 🤣🤣🤣
20:00 we have LPRs on our light bars
Told ya.They use every cliche in the book.
27:35 explains a lot🤣
They can't call in swat.they don't have the styling with extra hold budget, which nolan dooes
LOL
The writers put so much effort into trying to 'seamlessly' explaining certain decisions like why characters are doing things outside of their status and area of responsibility and you lost so much of the exposition especially around Tim by cutting around Officer Sugarland. A lot of your questions would have been answered or explained to the audience since they know people are coming into either relatively new or having forgotten how last season ended.
we do plan on going back and watching the other episodes
To be fair Nolan said he’s from A Texas pd not from Texas pd
I just need Chenford back 😂
Same 😅
Did "Nolan" improvise "Texas PD"? Kinda looked like a bit of a "He's from... fuck where is he from... Texas PD! Yuuup! Yeehaaaw!"
Bill and Josh: "There would be SWAT and stuff..
Im new here but hf you guys talk a lot just not used to it is all 😂 the knowledge is cool to hear its mixed feeling here lmao 😆
We do talk a lot 😅
Yup, that's what we're here for.
Try 1, maybe 2, more episodes, you'll be hooked for good.
FYI Lonestar is mostly about Austin fire, not as much PD
good to know!
wait until you see episode 2 from memory with Texas
oh no lol
