Filme fantástico! Yul Brynner magnetiza com aquele poderoso olhar e ao mesmo tempo encanta. Segundo ele mesmo, o Rei é um animal possuído por um anjo. É mágico e faz a gente sonhar!
Fantastic!!!
Great singing by the late Marni Nixon.
Everytime I hear Alfred Newman's "20th Century-FOX fanfare", I keep thinking Star Wars.
Even though Star Wars was not filmed with Cinemascope lenses, Alfred Newman's 'Cinema Extension' theme music was too good not to recycle and so reappeared (after not being used for a few years) in the Star Wars opening credits.
0:01 This 20th Century Fox Logo Is Taken From The 1965 And 1977 20th Century Fox Movies The Sound Of Music And Of Course Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope. Thanks Mate. X
Not correct. The Cinemascope 55 logo was used first in "The King and I" in 1956 which is where this comes from. The orchestra used for this recording was also done in 1955-1956 and was written and conducted by Alfred Newman. If you are seeing this logo in 1965 or 1977 it was taken for those videos you are watching since the Cinemscope 55 logo was not used again after this 1956 period by Twentieth Century Fox. The Alfred Newman orchestral score was also done in 1955-1956. If you hear the same score in "The Sound of Music" and "Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope, both directors George Lucas and Robert Wise utilized the music tracks from 1956 or they were re-scored.
So in 2021, they are going to make a live action up coming movie!
Original soundtrack on Capitol records.
Frozen (2013) and Frozen 2 (2019) are also musicals
